The Wireless-G WUSBF54G USB Network Adapter with Wi-Fi Finder is a handy, pocket-sized device that combines an easy-to-use wireless network scanner with a USB-connected Wireless-G network adapter. It can be used to scan for available wireless connectivity before turning on computer. If the scanner does find a network, just plug it into PC and get connected. The Wireless-G WUSBF54G USB Network Adapter with Wi-Fi Finder detects Wireless-G and Wireless-B networks with a simple push of a button. It displays all pertinent information such as the wireless network's name (SSID), signal strength, the channel used, and whether wireless security is enabled or not using an easy-to-read LCD display.

Linksys products are the best on the market in what ever they do. There tech support is best in the industry and will always strive to make you happy. This product is ok, I just thought it would pull in all signals near the decive and it doesn't.

The wireless G USB Adaptor w/WiFi Finder works great. I use it when I'm in motel rooms to surf the internet. The display shows the signal strength and the name of the signal provider. It also shows if the signal is locked or unlocked.
Strengths: It small has a wi fi finder bulit in. Comes with a base to plug into so you don't have to keep going to the back of the computer.
Weakness: wish it had speed boost.
I have been wanting this for a while. You just can't find it in stores at least not in my area. It a great product I love Linksys there the best company and now that there own by Cisco you know you can count on there product to be the best network stuff you can buy. Buy this wireless G adapter and your be very happy.

I received a Kensington Wifi Finder for Christmas, but it just has LED lights. This worked very well for my old laptop to get on my wireless network.
