Strengths: Free after rebate with new laptop.
Weakness: WPA/WPA2 simultaneous mode does not work with my WPA client.
I already have a good G router but this one came free after rebates with a new laptop. . Always use wi-fi security. WEP is not very good, WPA and WPA2 are a lot better while WPA is good for home use, WPA2 is better. This router supports all 3 modes. . Newer routers have a wi-fi mode where they can run both the WPA and WPA2 security modes at the same time with different clients. My TRENDnet...
Strengths: Fast, always connected. No problems after 1 year of use.
Weakness: Can't think of any.
I bought this router from NewEgg and have had no problems with it in a year of use. Always connected and fast. I use it with a desktop and two laptops. Fast setup and easy to use for a non-techie. I loved the price and the reliability of the performance. Plan to buy another for college student daughter.
Strengths: quick, simple
Weakness: none so far
I bought this with purchase of a laptop. It is cheap but enough for family use. I looks simple but good quality. I donot think we should spend more than $50 to buy router. D-link's brand is good in networking stuff.
Strengths: Quick and painless setup. Strong signal throughout a 2 story house. Doesn't break the bank. User friendly.
Weakness: none yet.
I purchased mine at bestbuy the other day. After I got home my network was up within minutes. I haven't had any disconnects and or signal problems. I'm glad I went with D-Link this time. (prior netgear)
Strengths: Cheap, decent signal
Weakness: Frequent loss of connection, frequent hard lockups, firmware updates don't help.
I'm not prone to "worst XYZ ever" reviews, but this router has been extremely frustrating and problematic. Ever since we installed it, it would drop connection for 5-15 minutes at random times of day. Frustrating, but tolerable. Lately, though, it has been freezing up completely - we have to hard reboot (by unplugging it) at least 3-5 times a week. I'm a relatively competent computer user and so...
Strengths: Compact design, black color, removable antena
Weakness: No reset button, obsolete firmware
I've been using this router over a week and I gotta admit it's a very convenient tool. I had difficulties with Port Forwarding function until I updated routers firmare from its website. After that my router works just fine.
Strengths: small
Weakness: weak signal. drop connection all the time.
Worst router I have ever seen. I set up this router in my study room on the second floor. But I cannot use my laptop on the first floor ---- signal is too weak. It drops connection all the time(both wired and wireless). I even cannot access 192.168.0.1 address. The only solution is recycle the power. I just cannot remember how many time I have rebooted it since I brought it one month ago. The new...
If you are patient enough to reboot your computer every few minutes you may consider this type of router! The only thing for me to do right now is return.
Strengths: Working very good so far
Weakness: None
I am very happy with the purchase, I have retired my old router and things are working very smooth. I will recommend to everyone. God for a good deal when compared to other brands.

Glutton for Punishment
Strengths: the lights are really pretty with the rest of the blinking lights that make up my computer setup.
Weakness: how about holding a connection for more then 2 minutes
You would do the world a favor--if you EVER decided on purchasing this product--if you smashed the box to bits in the parking lot, turned around, walked BACK into the store, and bought a better \\\\\\\\\'effing router. Essentially then you spent the money on a broken box and still had to buy a new router, but that is the price for making a **stupid** purchase. I think i shall take my advice and...
