D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: Small

Weakness: Misleading LEDs. Pricier than similar devices.

This is probably the smallest, shortest USB Bluetooth adapter you can find on the market so far. Hardware manual is very intuitive printed, but I was hoping there were a printed version for software manual too (you can find the latter in the CD though). The two indicators (Link and Power) seem to be the same LED actually... That's kind of misleading... And no, it is not blue but green....

D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: -Easy set-up -Well design packaging w. status leds

Weakness: -None to report to this day

The product was very easy to set-up on my Dell workstation. Instructions were simple and results were as anticipated. The range is as claimed in the technical specifications (it's even used in an industrial environment)and I was able to communicate with my PDA and other devices. I would definetely purchase again.

D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: easy setup

Weakness: a little more pricey

I bought to use with my 15" Apple Powerbook Ti and a new Nokia 3650. It worked like a charm. No setup required for adaptor--plug and play all the way! It seems to do a good job with reception in a circular radius and finds the phone quickly. I have had no problems with the connection.

D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: If you've got a mac, just plug it in.

Weakness: None so far

I'll probably have to update this is once I really start testing its durability. So far, I couldn't ask for anything more. Great price. Tiny size. Immediatly recognized by my mac. What else could I ask for? Oh yea, it comes with a usb extension cord in case you need more range or need to get it out from behind a desktop.

D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: Works very well to allow people to both access the new Apple Wireless Keyboard and other Bluetooth products, like Bluetooth-enabled phones.

Weakness: Range isn't wonderful

The D-Link DBT120 is a nice device for using Bluetooth with Windows and Macintosh computers, be sure not to get the DBT120M if you want to use the Apple Wireless Keyboard though. It's pretty simple to plug-in and use, but perhaps it would be nice if there was an antenna that is adjustable for range.

D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: A true plug & play device!

Weakness: None!

I purchased this product to sync my iMac and bluetooth cellphone. It's a true plug & play device. I did not experience any problem syncing my iMac & phone, as if they were meant for each other. Started downloading images, videos & music as soon as my devices were paired. This is an excellent product, I wish every device is as easy as this one. I highly recommend it!

D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: iMac plug-n-play, just attached i to my Mac keyboard USB slot, basically disappears and is barely noticeable!

Weakness: Range is a bit iffy, but that's more of a Bluetooth issue.

Plug it into the iMac, go to the Bluetooth utility (Applications/Utilities/Bluetooth setup. It automatically found my cell phone (Nokia 3650) and immediately paired with it, no problems. So, very easy to use so far, great for synching up my address book with my phone so I don't have to retype everything in to my new phone! Excellent little device, super-small profile, worked well out of the box....

D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: Plug n Play, Nothing needed to be installed at all.

Weakness: What Weakness?

Ok I own a Mac and I love it and the fact that all I had to do was plug it in the usb port in the back and play was very solid. In fact I don't understand why I didn't have bluetooth from the begining? So I got a bluetooth apple mouse and keyboard next Bluetooth Cell phone. I am Lovin' Bluetooth.

D-Link PersonalAir Wireless Adapter

Strengths: Simple plug and play technology, no software, no drivers.

Weakness: none

It couldn't be easier to use. I just plugged it into an existing USB port on my PowerMac and away I went. Immediately synced up my Sony Ericsson T616 with no problem.
