Maximum Frame Rate: 30 fps
Strengths: stylish; good image; great features
Weakness: pricy
I bought the headset to replace the old webcam. It looks great. The image I would say is quite good. It has lots of great features. However, the webcam is pricy. I expect more from the product considering what I paid for the product.
Strengths: good lowlight, wide aspect to video capture
Weakness: everything else you could think of
I am used to the apple iSight which is one of the best webcams in existence, shame however apple for some crazy reason have not written a win32 based driver for windows. When you think of video, you think of your camcorder, and fluid clear shots, 30fps video is near enough that sort of video quality. HOWEVER this product does not at all produce output that is comparable to 30fps! This output is...
Strengths: Image is Good Quality; Nice Features; Motion is Smooth; Pan and Tilt works great; Set up easy
Weakness: Poor quality headset; Face Tracking needs improvement
The price was right on this camera when you consider the MIR. It ended up costing us about the same as a nice mid-grade camera. We knew there were a few things that need to be improved in this camera before we bought it. Set-up was easy with this camera. The only problem we have had was the headset not capturing our voices very well. The Face Tracking Program locks onto any dark item behind you...
Strengths: - Good quality images in good-low light - Smooth motion & wide angle Pan/Tilt/Zoom capabilities - Fairly lightweight - Relatively cost effective (w $30 MIR) - Full range of features/software incl
Weakness: - Materials feel and look Cheap - Mounting Arm Flimsy - No Remote Pan/Tilt/Zoom w/ bundled Orb software - Bundled Orb software is actually a Subscription based service, Free only for the 1st Year!
Overall the Camera is decent and does a good job. The setup is fairly easy and straight forward (WinXP SP2). Its image quality is good for the price, and the mechanical motion of the Pan/Tilt/Zoom is relatively smooth and quiet. The image refresh rate & delays have much room for improvement, especially considering this camera uses USB 2.0 for connectivity. My iSight performs better on my Mac...
Strengths: Excellent image and features
Weakness: Buggy software and headset.
This is my first webcam. My wife and sister wanted to communicate. Overall, I wouldn’t buy this again given what I know now. The camera’s image quality and features are excellent, but the software is buggy and the cheap little headset (that clips to your ear) is a joke. It broke after 10 minutes. We then hooked up a little walkman mic while waiting for a new USB mic to arrive ($30 more) and...
Strengths: Features, Motion/tilt, CCD sensor, Picture
Weakness: No microphone, buggy Software
This is an excellent webcam with great features like zoom/tilt/pan motions and the CCD sensor provides great pics and clips. looks stylish and expensive (it is). the sad part is the bad software that is buggy and doesnt work well to utilise the webcam to its potential. hopefully creative will come out with improved software. also i dont know why they left out the microphone on this.
Strengths: Great picture quality, follow motion
Weakness: None
This is a very good quality, easy to setup and use webcam for the average home user. The picture quality is awesome, once and a while it will be delayed but normally that is due to the internet speed on the other computer. Its really easy to use, the only thing I had little trouble is to figure out how to get the mic to work. After the installation, I can take pictures and videos then record them...
Strengths: usb 2.0, pan and tilt with wide angle
Weakness: face tracking feature is not so great
This is a great webcam for normal web video conferencing. It does not have a built in mic but comes with a free hands-free headset. The face tracking feature is not so great. Overall worth a buy with discounted price.
Strengths: great performance
Weakness: na
This webcam has great resolution and the coolest tilt and pan feature. It also has software that allows it to follow your face around if you choose to move during broadcast. The adjustable legs work either hang it from your laptop screen or set it on your desk or table. Great value and performance for the money.

Good camera, BAD software
Strengths: Great quality, good resolution
Weakness: Bad software
I just got my webcam and I installed it immediately. Everything was working fine. I was checking to make sure everything worked and messed around with it a little bit. After 10-15min, my monitor just went black...and I had to reboot the computer. Everytime i logged on I would get an error message from windows saying that some driver had caused this error and my windos operating system (XP) wasnt...
