Weakness: A bit bulky for notebook. But this cam is good for desktop.
I've used this camera for video chatting with messenger programs. It works pretty well and does its job. But image was dark under low light. I fixed this problem with desk lamp. I would recommend this product if you want a decent webcam at a reasonable price.

This is a horrible product and I cannot believe anyone would give more than a 2 rating. This item has such a high retail price but feels and acts like a webcam that came out years ago. I cannot stress how horrible this product is. The images are not VIVID, perform extremely poorly in low light situations and i'm not sure what the 1.3 mp image capture and 800x600 video capture is of any benefit...

Well, I have to agree with "ilil" but it seems everyone here is just putting up a POSITIVE review without actually trying out the camera, because WE ALL BOUGHT IT FOR 5 BUCKS. Once again, X-mas time is upon us and us Uber-geeks go online and buy tons of junk to play with for ultra-low prices, but the best part is coming on here and reviewing it all. This thing is CRAP and a TOTAL WASTE of my 5$...

Weakness: Needs very bright light, very grainy picture
Unfortunately, this camera is not one I can recommend. The picture is very grainy unless you use postage stamp size. It was also extremely difficult to install using the included CD. Also, the drivers are not even listed on the manufacturer website. I recommend to avoid this camera.
Strengths: Nice packaging, nice look and the camera body doesn't look cheap. Earbud with microphone are included (similar to a hands-free from a cell phone).

I get this webcam from my friends. It is a good webcam with higher resolution compare with other band webcam. It can work well with skype and MSN. But this webcam do not have len to zoom in/out. So it is very difficult to clear item far way. I have used it for several days already. No any problem. Driver is very easy to install. I like it very much.

This has been a good camera for video calls with nice resolution and an included headset. The fun software that it comes with is an added bonus for creating a background for your video or changing how it looks. I've been happy with the camera using it with Skype although it is sort of big compared to other webcams out there.
