Strengths: USB2.0 for fast connection, perform well in low light, wide angle and clear video and picture
Weakness: None
I have been using this camera for almost 1 weeks and quite pleased with the purphase. The video is good and you can zoom in and out for wide angle or details. It performs well in low-light even I turned off the light and only kept monitor on, still can capture good video. It is a great webcamera and I highly recomended.
Strengths: USB 2.0 connectivity, 640x480 CMOS sensor, good photo and video quality, comes with a headset
Weakness: Can be a bit grainy in low light. Lower resolution sensor than the Logitech Quickcam 4000.
The Creative Live! Ultra webcam appears to be competing against Logitech's Quickcam Pro 4000. They have similar still photo resolution (1024x768 for the Live Ultra, 1280 x 960 for the Quickcam 4000). However, the Quickcam 4000 has a true 1.3 megapixel sensor, while the Live Ultra interpolates up from 640x480. As a result, I have found the Quickcam 4000 produces better still images. Video quality...
Strengths: USB 2.0. Easy to install. Face tracking. CCD image sensor.
Weakness: Doesn't stand firm on my monitor. A little pricey.
I've been waiting for USB 2.0 Webcam to come out, and this is it! And it has CCD image sensor instead of CMOS. I don't use the face tracking feature much, but when I tried it it's amazing. I will never go back to USB 1.1 CMOS webcams.
Strengths: Wide zoom...allows more people in the shot.
Weakness: None
This little baby is awesome. The picture quality. The sound quality. It works like a several hundred dollar digital camera. Love how you can get more people in the shot. Clips on the monitor in a way where it doesn't make it look tacky! BUY ONE TODAY!
Strengths: Excellent image quality outdoor or under daylight. Wide angle is pretty useful to include everything. USB 2.0 although I am not able to tell the difference except possibly during video capturing.
Weakness: White balance is awful indoors. The picture can be quite grainy under limited light.
The camera somehow posts a weird yellowish color indoors. The whitebox adjustment doesn't help even set to incandescent -- actually it's pretty much the same with the auto mode. The color is also too much most of the time even after being set to natural -- the least "vivid" mode. The image quality is on par with logitech 4000 pro outdoors, but the logitech is a lot better in handling white...
Strengths: Great under daylights, very crisp picture.
Weakness: doesn't have the wireless or network connection.
I look this compact sleek design. The CCD and crisp picture are a plus!! If only this has network or wireless connection. I would recommened to anyone that is looking to buy a webcam.
Strengths: excellent image quality, USB 2.0 support, wide angle and good video quality.
Weakness: some grainy pictures under poor lighting conditions
after comparisons, I decided to go with this webcam due to it's CCD sensor and I am very satisfied with the better image quality versus the other webcam models who do not use the CCD sensor technology. With the wide angle lens, you can capture more and it produces very clear image quality in daylight. It works perfectly with Yahoo Messenger. I would definitely purchase another one in the future.
Strengths: The creative does great job under day light. It has a wide angle. The pictures look crisper. Rotates 360 degrees.
Weakness: Some other product outscore this camera with no light.
Overall, this is a excellent webcam. Does all the jobs it is suppose to do. This Webcam provides great software and good video and picture quality for amateurs, but more-advanced users may crave additional settings and editing options.
Strengths: Good picture during the day, sleek design, works on LCDs
Weakness: CREATIVE SOFTWARE, bad picture at night, only works on LCDs, mounting could be improved upon
The strengths and weaknesses sum it up very well. If you plan on using this camera mostly during the day or in very well lit rooms, you'll like the picture results. Furthermore, if you have an LCD you'll appreciate that it hooks on easily. In addition to those two, the sleek design blends in with most LCD bezels. The problems begin with the typical Creative problem - the software. Bloated and...

Great Webcam
Strengths: Extremely Clear, great color, very simple to use software
Weakness: If used with USB 1.1, image quality will suffer, Hope your computer has the USB 2!
I have been looking for a webcam for awhile so that me and my longdistance relationship can keep in better touch with one another. I love it so far, nothing really bad to say. Sometimes the Smarttrack function can be a little creepy since it zooms on something that it thinks is moving but if anything just turn it off.
