I guess this is the new replacement for the nvidia MX series, I bought it to replace my current card which is a ti4400 128mb graphics board.....man this card (fx5200) comes no where close to my old cards performance, but heck no harm done ...back to best buy with it, I'll just use the credit towards a better new card....though I will say this it isn't a bad card for the price.
Strengths: low price good performance
Weakness: crappy HSF (heatsink/fan) i went out and bought a Tt GIANT2 heatpipe and now it runs/overclocks real nice
i bought this card on a limited budget $150 to spend i paid about $90 for the car and $30 for the heatpipe great investment with the help of friends i got it to overclock with the CoolBits registry tweek the drivers can overclock it well gotta go play some games!!!
XFX GeForceFX 5200 Graphics Card
Strengths: Price-Performance Ratio is Excellent!
Weakness: None
I bought this card in June 2003 for $70.00. I wanted a card to replace Old Nvidia 32MB on my Dell. It's great compared to what I had, also considering ATI and DX9 support and DVI out, this is a great price for all these features! I would highly recommend this card to anyone that can't justify spending $350.00 on the RED Card.
