Strengths: Runs games in max settings and still loads fast, cheaper than Geforce TI cards and not much difference between this and TI 4600
Weakness: Having to connect the card to the power supply in order for it to get the power it needs ( It's that strong folks! )
Kick a$$ card and it's a great price for what it can do. Games can be put on max settings on resolution and quality, and they still load fast, and I mean FAST!
Strengths: Direct X 9 support, beats the cr** out of the GeForce 4 Ti4200, runs all games smoothly at 1280 by 1024 resolution with max settings, stable drivers, awesome price for the performance
Weakness: none that i could find (no OC options but the stock settings are perfectly fine with me)
awesome card, best card on the market for performance per dollar and it beats its competitor, the Ti 4200, by at least 10-40% in all the benchmarks i ran on it, comes with a better bundle of cables and converters which werent included with the MX 440 or Ti4200 i bought. a must buy for a gamer unless you're a OC.
Strengths: 5 times my previous 3dmark 2001 score! games look great!
Weakness: no overclocking availabilities yet. need the latest agp driver and no game bundle
unreal tournament looks great and it's smooth. no more "jaggies". Upgraded from my old radeon le and well worth it. Gotta play all of my old games over again.
Strengths: All of its included features, price, and performance- "most bang for the bucks now" as others have said.
Weakness: Cannot be overclocked till bios is re-flashed and then warranty is void, otherwize I have found none and mine is in a heavily loaded high performance system with a 550w power supply, so I would know!
I bought this card, replacing my Visiontek GeForce 3 Ti 200, primarily to resolve boot-up issues on my Gigabyte GA-7VAXP motherbord (AMD 1800+XP processor), and some problems with certain programs, which it solved. You have to search a bit on the web but you can find a bios installer and new bios hack which will allow overclocking this card if you are brave, but remember you will forfeit your...
Strengths: Decent card for the price
Weakness: Not as good as the 9700 pro or the 9600 pro
This is a decent card not for the really hardcore gamer those line up behind the 9700 pro and the 9800 pro.It doesn't beat the Nvidia 4600.The Geforce 4 TI-4200 is in same price and performance area.Drivers has always been ATI's weakness it is getting better.I find it funny that people think they can flash it and make it a 400 dollar card won't work people .i would like a card where you could add...
Strengths: UPDATE:can be OC with a simple flash to video bio's,it's a canadain product
Weakness: power supply is near the ram so it will be hard to put ram heat sinks on it
The best part of this card (9500 pro) is O/C. heres my best result for 3dmark2003 4550 vpu 366/320 cpu 2500 2.14 gig@176fsb with 256 pc3200 2-3-3-6-3 3mark2001 14995 with the same specs P.S wish they was a flash to convert to 256 bit memory
Strengths: ummm... cant say enough about this card. its basically an underclocked 9700 with a 128bit memory interface. best card out there for the money. no exceptions.
Weakness: absolutely none.
well lets see... first of all (not to bust indo's balls or anything) this card wasnt meant to be a 9700. its priced lower because it was clocked lower and it has a 128bit mem interface, which slots it in the mainstream market, not the high-end market. u get what u pay for, but in this case u get a lot more. all u need is a 3rd party bios which unlocks the card. not hard to get. from there u r...
Strengths: This is what I want all along... average performance but can support up-to-date game. Although it's slower than 9700 pro. However 9500 pro has all the features in 9700 pro. That's why I love 9500 pro.
Weakness: You want weaknesses? I will tell you one word which is none
9500 pro a graphic card you must buy it you wish to upgrade from slower graphics cards. Go to your nearest store and grab one today. Now, Ati discontinued this product so you may have to buy fast from your local reseller. My summary? Buy it if you want it. :)
Strengths: Excellent gaming performance at a highly competitive price!!
Weakness: None
I've been playing UT2003, and a few other FPS games quite a lot since I got this card, and I was totally blown away by the performance of this card from the 1st time I used it!!! I've played every game I own, with gfx setting to the maximum that the rest of my system can handle, and this card just flies thru everything I've thrown at it!! Highly recommended - can't fault it
ATI RADEON 9500 PRO Graphics Accelerator
Strengths: Good Graphics, easy installation.
Weakness: None, maybe later on you want something more powerful, but it's human nature.
At first I blamed this card for not having a picture on my screen but it was something else, now I love this card but since my Asus P4PE mobo supports only 4x I can't get the whole enchilada, thinking of upgrading drivers, but then buying another card, I seen benchmarks where this card beats the 9600 Pro version hands down plus the 4200 GeForce, I only recommend this card for people that want a...
