Strengths: Nice, faster fps than my previos Vcard. Cheap price too. Good for 2d/3d games. Easy installation.
Weakness: After using powerdvd xp it changes my refresh rate to 65hz. Drivers--Drivers
If youre looking for a good video card for your games and you dnt have that much money.. Try this radeon 7500 and you wont regret. And dnt worry for poor driver performance coz you can update it anyway.
Strengths: awesome rendering, excellent on games, good mpeg player
Weakness: support
i installed this in a brand new system, after i tried the radeon 7000 first. not a vast difference, but worth the possibilities for the $15 price difference. i tried warcraft, masterCam and autoCad on it and it soars. no glitching or pauses. only issue i had was when i played a video from warcraft, a pink stripped appeared on the side of the screen box. no one know what it is.
Strengths: Amazingly fast for a budget card. Fast for a regular card. Great overclockability.
Weakness: none so far
I had great frames per second with the Radeon 7500. After I upgraded to the latest drivers the fps got even better. It has great overclockability and I am yet to see any graphics problems such as texture flicker or anything.
Strengths: Supports pan and scan virtual desktop Clean display; rock-solid drivers in Windows XP
Weakness: Weak printed documentation; tech support doesn't fully understand this card's capabilities
My quest is over! I've delayed updating the Windows XP because I needed a video card that could give me the true virtual desktop (where the desktop is about 4 times larger than your monitor -- also called pan and scan) that greatly enhances productivity (you can open a desktop publishing document or word processing document full size and never resort to using scroll bars -- move your cursor and...
Strengths: Powerfull midrange graphics, superp dual display !!!
Weakness: Drivers, Drivers, Drivers, Drivers !!!
Agp-aperture 64 mb, WinXPpro and no problems whatsoever .. Apart from the buggy drivers that is ! If ur on a budget this card can make ur day !! C´mon ATI get them drivers working ..
Strengths: -Earliest (and cheapest) usage of Hydravision and all the new smoothing graphics that ATI came out with. -Again it is worth its value and does beat out or is quite on par with Nvidia Geforce2's.
Weakness: Because it is a budget line card it won't run the newest games at good settings, but it is worth every penny for its value. Otherwise look for Radeon 9000 or higher.
As far as performance goes this card is absolutely worth its value. I actually tested this by myself with a 3D test (Vulpine 3D Mark) It scored nicely (Roughly 30 fps at medium settings with 640x580 res). If you're on a budget then this is definitely the card for you. Compatability with my HP computer (600mhz pentium iii) was no problem. Once I downloaded the latest drivers from the ATI website...
Strengths: Good overall performance, tested it in demanding applications and it works just fine, up to the specified standards.
Weakness: Installation was not a treat: I was almost sure of returning it after three hours of despair of facing black and blue screens. Then I changed the graphics aperture size to 32MB, and all worked.
This is a very good card, and probably one of the very best for the money. One would like to see more support from ATI for OEM products and less troublesome installation.
Strengths: Fast price
Weakness: Crashes in xp
well i got it out the box & installed booted up & guess what CRASH. so i worked & worked to get it installed finally did only yo have more Crashes. Xp has that report error thing well after I reported over 100 on the same thing I think some one might get the point EPOX 8kha 1 gig ddr ram sound blaster audigy Platinum ati readeon 7500 64mb ram i 120 gig hhd.80 gig hhd dvd rom ploxtor 40x12x40 450...
Strengths: Good Pictures/No Problem at Installation/No Problems under Win XP :-)
Weakness: Performence is a little strange at Games on my System! Searching for Weeks at the Problem! :-(
But at all the Card is good for Standard Systems!! I've got Problems at Games! When I play Games based on the Q3 Engine I don't get more than 90 FPS !! (All Drives installed and Bios is fine!) If Anyone out there has the same Problem Mail to me: Redrunner3000@aol.com Thanks an much FUN with the Radeon 7500 !! ;-)
ATI RADEON 7500 Graphics Card
Strengths: Affordable with decent quality
Weakness: Documentation
I installed the ATI Radeon 7500 into an XP machine--no problems. It replaces an NVidia GeForce2 integrated graphics. It blows away the integrated graphics. I use a 1024x768 LCD monitor and the windows startup screens don't have the fizzles, the text is very sharp at a wider viewing angle. Its better all around. As discussed by another reviewer, I wanted to do the virtual desktop/Pan and Scan in...
