Strengths:  elegent design, relatively small (for a 7 port unit), true usb2.0 speed
Weaknesses:  compatibility issue with certain type of external hard drive.

Strengths:  Plug in and self install.
Weaknesses:  Might lack power for some attachments such as a printer
Review:  Used to salvage a laptop with bad USB ports from mother board problem. It was scrap it or get this PC card, which salvaged the computer. Do expect to need a powered USB splitter to run a printer, but still cheaper than a new computer.

Strengths:  Very portable, very small, no outside power source required
Weaknesses:  Cannot use my external Western Digital hard drive with it.
Review:  I have a laptop and travel much so portability is very important - this is perfect. I also have tons of things to plug in so this comes in very handy. The only negative is, I can't use my external Western Digital hard drive with it - I don't know if it's only an issue with my device or WD.

Strengths:  Compact, easy to set up, good port distribution
Weaknesses:  none
Review:  This hub was a lot smaller than I expected it to be, but it turned out to do its job wonderfully. The AC adapter is unobtrusive in my strip, and the layout of the ports makes plugging things in and out a piece of cake. Very highly recommended.

Review:  I bought this card since my Mac (using OS X 10.3.x aka Panther) didn't have USB 2 ports and I just got new scanner that uses USB 2. Installing took less than 2 minutes. Just opened the case and plugged it into a PCI slot and screwed it in. That's all! I didn't even need to install any driver. It works like a charm. The card was $14.66 with free shipping! :)
