Strengths: Nice picture. Easy to use. Deinterlace function for us XP users. Capture quality is really nice.
Weakness: Wish the software was a little better.
I really like this card a lot. It has provided me with the opportunity to watch tv while I surf the web. I also like the fact that you can capture video with this card. Not anything I can say bad about the card. I would probably ask Hauppauge to include better software with their product. Other than that, good job.

Hauppauge WinTV-GO TV Tuner Card
Strengths: easy to install
Weakness: Bad quality sound when playing back recorded shows.
I rarely watch shows while they're broadcast, that's why I bought this card -- to record them digitally and play them back, skipping commercials like Tivo. However, the quality of sound is so bad, that I don't want to use it. It has no bass and has too much treble. Thinking the the built-in sound card on my motherboard was bad, I disabled it and plugged in a brand new 5.1 channel sound card. Now...
