BE CAREFUL
Strengths: When it works, it's an adequate gigabit dumb switch.
Weakness: These have a horrific record of field failures, most likely approaching 100% due to poor component quality in a critical capacitor. Personally, I've had 4 out of 4 fail. Google for details.
Cisco/Linksys has withdrawn the SD2005 illustrated here in the steel case and replaced it with a new (physically larger) version. Unfortunately, the new version is still called an SD2005.
