Frequency Band: MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) - MOV technology allows normal current to pass through the device, while diverting any surge/spikes through the ground circuit. This safely protects all connected electronics along with the surge suppressor itself. Built-In Automatic Shutdown - In the event that the surge/spike exceeds the suppression capabilities of unit, the CyberPower surge suppressor will safely shut itself down to protect all connected electronics. Transformer-spaced Outlets - Widely spaced outlets allow you to conveniently add large transformer-based plugs without compromising the utility of other outlets. EMI/RFI Shielding - Provides shielding against electromagnetic interference & radio frequency signals. Most commonly, this is used to prevent line noise or humming that occurs over telephone lines or stereo electronics. Child-safe Outlets: Outlets on the surge suppressor that are not used can slide close so unwanted objects cannot be electrically charged. ISO & Safety Certifications - All CyberPower manufacturing facilities are ISO-9001 Quality Tested. Our products are also UL Listed and CSA Certified. I hope I'll never have to use its $200K equipment guarantee
Strengths: well-spaced outlets, cable modem protection
Weakness: outlets are tight fit; a little bulky

I haven't experienced any catastrophic surge events, so I can't say it's thanks to this surge protector or just good luck. But I can say that this surge protector is pretty well designed with the user in mind. Out of its 8 outlets, 4 are spaced wide enough so that 4 bulky AC adaptors can fit on there without encroaching onto the neighboring outlets' space. The cable modem and phone line protections are bonuses too. It even works as a 2-way splitter for the phone line. The power cord is 8-foot long, and plug is right-angled so it fits behind furniture very well.
The outlets are pretty tight fit - it could be plus since equipments don't get accidentally unplugged, but it sometimes also can be difficult to plug/unplug things you want to move around. It's also a little bulky, almost half the size of some of battery backups.
It offers some hefty equipment guarantee in case of equipment damage in events of catastrophic surge, but I hope I'll never have to find out whether CyberPower would really keep up their promise...
