I bought these to write data dvds and have had no issues whatsoever. They are rated to burn at 16x and have no issues in my 4x DVD burner. They are easy to mark with Sharpies as well. No reason not to get this HP media

We have used these disks many times, always get a great quality recording that sounds and looks as good as any other disc we have used. We also noticed that we never get a bad copy using these disks. That saves us money and time. RATE AAA

Weakness: Flashy CD top color (I couldn't use it for professional use)
These DVDs are as good as any for normal personal use. They are cost effective and that's what appealed to me. HP as a brand is reliable and established so trusting their product was not a big thing. I wrote a few DVDs today -- data cd for my vehicle and it came out perfect.
