Strengths: Good bass. Ability to adjust the bass and treble is a plus.
Weakness: Clarity of music could be better.
I bought these for my laptop and they are actually not too bad considering the $30 price tag. The speaker in the sub woofer is underneath the box which adds a great bass tone, however could could be little more clear even with the treble turned all the way up.

Great Bargain
Strengths: Huge quality to price ratio
Weakness: No cover on sub-woofer speaker
I was looking online at various speakers, one of which was these. I happened to be at my local Wal-Mart and saw them and bought them for just under $25. What a treat, I've paid more for less before. Don't fret, just buy 'em, you won't be disappointed. Note: the model # on mine is BX1121, I don't know what the R is for. Mine look exactly the same as the picture.
