Strengths: Very good, product called 800c as well, works grate
Weakness: I had problem to make it work with Windows Vista 64, but Scan Card development department took care of it right away.
Great product, works great, you won't have any Business card around, you can synchronize it with Microsoft Outlook, excellent customer service, highly recommended. Recommendation: make sure to make a copy of “ contact ” file in case your computer crash or get some viruses, cover the scanner if you are not using it (because of dust).

This is a very usefull equipment, fast, easy and safe way to store your business card collection, the CardScan Executive V8 is certainly worth considering. Nice and Great desing also.

I was thinking about Neat Business Cards Portable Scanner or Executive 8.0 Card Scanner. In the end, I decided to go with this one since the reviews were excellent and I don't regret it. The software is amazing, it will pick up 95% of the business cards without any problems. Lets you add both front and back side of the card, create your own groups. The scanner is really fast. It is a very useful product for salepersons that have a lot of business cards and want to organize contact info. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a lot of networking for their businesses.
Strengths: Powered by USB (needs no external power) OCR Accuracy Version 8.03 software has nice improvements over 6.0

This is a big improvement over the earlier generation of CardScan devices. Installation is a snap and there were no problems importing/converting my old cards from version 6. Interface with Outlook is still great. Excellent product!

CardScan Executive 8.0 card Scanner
Strengths: Easy to use Software easily installed Card Reader worked straight out of box with no problems
Weakness: Transfer of data to Palm PDA did not work Transfer of data to mobile widows's cell phone did not work
The product is elegantly design and very straight forward to use. Card Reader software installed in minutes and I was able to use the product right away. I scanned over 200 cards without a problem. I did have a problem trying to transfer the data from my computer to my Palm PDA and to my mobile phone that had Window's Mobile on it. Excluding the final issue the product is good to use.
