Strengths: SATA 300 on this cards, 90% of the PCI cards I found only supported SATA 150
Weakness: A little expensive for a card
This card ended up being the least expensive PCI card ($70) that I could find to add SATA support to an older machine. Most of the cards available (less expensive cards) supported PCI Express and not standard PCI. Cheaper PCI cards did not support SATA 300, but SATA 150 instead.

Excellent for SATA Expansion!!
Strengths: Small form factor, 4 SATA 300 connections along with 4 packaged SATA cables... price was very decent for me compared to other cards and their features.
Weakness: Doesn't have 8 connectors... in all seriousness no weaknesses from what experience I've had so far.
I am using this card in an UnRaid Media Server. It is Linux based and this card had no problem expanding my array. I checked my power usage and the card barely added anything to my hourly wattage estimation. Price can be troublesome for many buyers... but I got mine on a fantastic deal through a retail website. I will probably be adding more of these cards to expand my array further when these...
