Strengths: The chip will overclock to FX60 or Opteron 185 speeds/ it also comes with a very good heatsink it has 4 heatpipes and a copper base and takes seconds to install for 235.00 which is what I payed

Fantastic chip cost around 1200 dollars a few years ago. I bought this processor as an upgrade over my AMD 64 3700+. My 3700+, while still fast, was not able to keep up with my evolving needs. I mostly use my system for gaming and watching/recording HDTV. Opteron is a great processor. AMD made a great product for the people that have their own servers. It is a durable and efficient processor. The price is also pretty great for the functions of the processor.

Had absolutely not problems installing it into my Socket 939 MSI Neo-2 Platinum MoBo, with 3 GB of Corsair Value RAM.
