Great upgrade for me
Strengths:  Plug and play. Significant speed increase over my older Athlon XP 3000+
Weaknesses:  End of line for the 939 socket.
Review:  Supposedly this chip can be significantly overclocked. Practically impossible to find this at a good price now since it's the end of the line for this chip. Upside with the box is the 3 year warranty and comes with fan. If you've got a load of PC3200 memory you will want to see if you can go the 939 route but do it quick!

Good cheap processor
Strengths:  reasonable price, fast , good compatible motherboard is cheap
Weaknesses:  lower cache compared to X2 5200
Review:  got it for cheap with free ecs motherboard. Is fast out of box. Easy installation, stock fan is pretty good. However when overclocked, conroe E6600 smokes it. However if you buy intel, compatible good motherboards are expensive. Spend $20 more and buy X2 5200 instead if you are looking for cheap fast system

Weaknesses:  Not many programs written to take advantage of 64-bit at this time.
Review:  For about $200, this processor rocks! Even though the Athlon64 3200's and above have a larger cache, in most tests I have seen, it makes little difference in game play. UbiSoft has promised a 64-bit version of Far Cry very soon, which will be a real test of this processor's true ability. Buy this and save money.
Strengths:  It has a 2 x 1MB L2 cache instead of a 2 x 512mb.
Weaknesses:  None so far.
Review:  I recommend anyone to buy this over a 2x 512kb cache processor like the 4200+. It will overclock easily and it has double the cache. This can be easily overclocked to 2.5 GHz with upgraded cooling fan and AS 5 thermal grease. Overclock and upgraded fan will void warranty.

Weaknesses:  Is Socket 754, which is dead-end. If you're looking to buy and can afford it, get a socket 939 Athlon64 which'll be upgradable for a while...
Review:  Performance with a 64-bit processor of 2.0GHz is better than my old AthlonXP 1.88GHz processor. With the AS-Rock K8 Combo-Z motherboard I easily overclocked the Athlon 64 to 2.4GHz without much temperature increase, and I expect I could have gone higher. With Cool'N'Quiet technology enabled, runs below 40*C even in my cramped case. All in all a pretty good buy.

Strengths:  Fast processor for a reasonable price
Weaknesses:  Can't think of any.
Review:  This processor is a great one for a reasonable price. It came with a heat sink and fan, as well as having thermal fluid applied already, which was really convenient, so there was no need to purchase a tube of it. Looks cool with the holographic AMD logo on the fan as well. Fully recommended.

Cheap and good worker!
Strengths:  Great for gaming, easy to overclock, cool and pretty quiet. When running 1 app or 2 slightly better than P4 3.0.
Weaknesses:  Not as stable as P4 and not good when running multiple apps
