Additional Specifications
Process Technology: 65 nm
Processor Technology: Extended Memory 64 Technology
Strengths: 65nm core(better efficiency) + good 2.33 GHz + 1333MHz FSB + 4M cache @ good price
Weakness: Stock fan not great for overclocking. Had a hard time fixing the stock fan which needs to be pushed onto the board.
I was about to buy a e6420 but the price was very tempting, so waited for over a month to grab this since its announcement by Intel. Paired this with gigabyte p35-ds3r and crucial ballistix 1066MHz to get a solid build running at stock speeds. The stock fan keeps the CPU at around 30C and at 40-45C at heavy loads. I have 2 fans in my antec sonata II which also contributes to the lower...
Strengths: It’s an Intel!
Weakness: Besides the $, none
Once you decide on Intel over AMD, which one to get? Core Due, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme? I decided that for an average user (non-gamer) like me, Core 2 Duo is sufficient. The higher-ups (Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Extreme) will cost more than an average complete system. Then, the next question is which Core 2 Duo? I decided to go for the one with the best price/performance ratio,...
Strengths: 1333 FSB and just a little slower than the E6750
Weakness: None, It just works
I chose this processor over the E6750 and it saved me at least $30.00. I'll get around to overclocking it and report back with my findings. Very happy with this processor.
Strengths: OCs well to 3.2ghz, reliable, stays very cool
Weakness: I don't see any
It's easy to install, comes with a stock fan (don't use that, get like a tuniq tower or water cooling if you want to OC it to the max).... Make sure you have good RAM as well. It's a solid chip, great job intel.
Strengths: great price, and stays relatively cool
Weakness: none at all.
I bought this for a very cheap price and discovered that it was worth it. Along with it's abilities to stay cool and even quiet, prices compared to other processors at the same power just can't beat it.
Strengths: Quite heatsink/fan, great price; runs cools when no overclocking
Weakness: No hyperthreading (but I don't need it)
This is a great processor that runs cool at 41 C when not overclocked with my MOBO Gigabyte. My Pentium 4 runs very hot comparatively. I haven't noticed an apparent speed advantage over my older Pentium 4 3.0 GHz though. I think my P4 is faster since I'm able to take advantage of my MOBO's AHCI support (it has an ASUS board). With this one, the gigabyte board (GA-P35-DS3L) does not support AHCI,...
Strengths: G0 stepping, fast with less power consumption, overclock well
Weakness: 7X multiplier
Very fast processor with relative low price. G0 stepping (less power consumption) makes it running at a lower temperature. Idle at 32 and never go over 40 with a Zalman Cooler installed. I have heard that it also has great overclock ability. You can easily go 3.0Ghz and it's still rock stable. The only downside of this processor is that it has 7Xmultiplier while other Intel CPUs have 8X or 9X....
Strengths: As everybody here said is 65 (it doesn't get to hot) 2.33, OC indeed very well, and paired with a good air cooler goes very well up
Weakness: NONE
I bought 6 months ago the ASUS mobo P5K3 deluxe, I got back then 2 gb DDR3 Kingstone 1066 modules Value Ram, and with Sapphire ATI HD2600XT GDR4 memories runs Vista in 64 bits very very fast. I have
Strengths: 1333FSB and for the fact that this CPU costs as much as the 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo 1066FSB.
Weakness: The first processor I purchased was DOA so I had to send out for a replacemnt. The CPU fan is made poorly!
I wasn't too thrilled that the first processor I received was DOA, but after getting a working one I was fine. The 1333FSB give this processor a good kick and this is probably the best processor out there in it's price range. I've always used Intel based systems because they not only make the best desktop processors but the best notebook processors too. The heatsink/fan that comes with the 775...

Reasonably priced core2duo!
Strengths: 2 processors good price 4MB cache 1333 MHz FSB
Weakness: none
I almost bought the older E6400 processor for a significantly higher price when I noticed Intel has launched another processor which is cheaper and almost as fast! This has a faster FSB too - 1333 MHz. It also has Intel's VT tech, which is nice if you are running virtual machines. 2 years back having dual processors was a dream, only realized in the server market. Now everyone has 2 core...
