Strengths: easy to use, quality printing, fast speed, affordable price
Weakness: loud noise, starter toner too low
I've bought this product from amazon a couple of days ago. I found this is a good printer with affordable price, good printing quality, fast printing speed, and very easy to use. I would recommend to buy.
Strengths: Good print quality; slightly above-average toner life; small footprint; inexpensive (relatively)
Weakness: Loud as heck; plastic chassis feels fragile and flimsy; no way to single feed other than to remove all the paper in the tray.
College demands lots of papers, so I gave my inkjet the heave-ho for this little laser printer instead. From an economic standpoint, I scored. The print quality is good and from what I have seen from other units, the toner almost lasts as long as it's supposed to. From an asthetic standpoint, this ain't the stoutest brew in the barrel. Its cooling fan is louder than some roomates and makes a...
Strengths: Low Price for unit (but not the toner unit!), Toner Saver Mode & small footprint
Weakness: Cost of toner unit twice the cost of printer. Causes annoying flickering of office lights - see Comments.
This is my first affordable laser printer for my home office. I bought it for $50 + tax at CompUSA's recent one-day sale. As a former, & long-time, "Xeroid" Techie I'm a bit more informed on laser printers. And, this unit is AOK in my book - especially for the "throw-away" price. Samsung has put together a speedy, sturdy, laser printer using a minimalist design that beats the price per copy (and...
Strengths: I have become to love Samsung products more and more. They provide excellent quality and reliability at an affordable cost. This printer is quick and built solid.
Weakness: Small starter cartridge. Also is a bit noisy compared to other Samsung models.
This is my second Samsung laser printer. I still have a ML-1430 from a few years ago and that is what led me to this model. Seems like this one is even faster but seems to be just as reliable. The only thing I have noticed is it is a bit noisier but I can handle that. It's definately nothing that would scare me away or take away my recommendation for this model.
Strengths: Simple and easy to set up. Good starter cartridge. Great price - got for around $50 after rebate!
Weakness: Loud - like all complain! Dont think its beautiful
A laser printer for $50!! It has a great starter cartridge. I use it at home and just for printing rebate forms etc. And it gets the job done super fast - a bit loud albeit.
Strengths: Easy setup, small, fast, great quality prints, NOT LOUD!
Weakness: No built in ethernet, not much wrong with this one.
I needed something to replace my Epson inkjet printer 875DC. A great printer, but it sucks down the ink! This printer was cheap, fast, and simple. Print quality is fantastic, and it's faster than I expected. People complain about the noise, it's not really loud. I suppose it is all relative. My computer fans are loud, and completely drown out the fan running on this printer. My only complaint is...
Strengths: Very inexpensive. Good text print quality. Fast printing. Very compact. Toner save feature helps.
Weakness: Very loud when printing. Graphic printing isn't the best. Some paper curling. Initial toner only 1000 sheets.
Got this printer for a great deal. It prints very fast and has good text print quality. Graphic quality is average at best. It is very compact and works well in a small office or home environment. The loud noise it makes is a bit annoying but for the price , its very bearable. I would recommend this for anyone who needs an inexpensive laser printer.
Strengths: very fast printing and durable ink
Weakness: shape and color of the printer
I really like this printer because of its printing speed and resolution. And for this price is real good. Suitable for any home or small office, the ML-2010 provides top-rated performance, easy-to-use features and a stunning design.
Strengths: unbeatable price, excellent quality print for text, small footprint, easy setup
Weakness: very noisy, no USB cable
I got this last night at a local computer store - w/ rebate, this printer only ran $50. Can't beat that. The sales guy thought the replacement cartridges ran ~$90, I haven't been able to confirm that yet, but if it is true - ouch! This is my first laser printer, so I guess I didn't realize the replacement cartridges were pricey - something to consider if you're new to laser printers too. And yes,...

Produced attractive put slightly pale text. Though lightweight and compact, this model feels sturdy.

Not so long ago laser printers used to cost mega bucks to own and were aimed to be used by businesses only. They used to be massive unmovable machienes that took up a lot of space and weighed a ton. Laser printers have come a long way since then and are now smaller, lighter, and more affordable then ever. On the block today is Samsung's ML-2010, a compact monochrome laser printer that can be...

Strengths: Durability, Reliability, Meets or exceeds all entry level B&W office laser averages.
Weakness: Slow first page, uses PC's CPU to render pages. Heavier weight paper/envelope feed causes creaseing.
I picked this up as refurbished unit for around $70 with a 2yr limited warranty. It's my 3rd B&W laser and I'm rather impressed with it's capability. When you buy a budget small office laser your not expecting great things in quality rather the goal is to get as many pages out of it as cheaply as possible. This unit delivers. The text quality is above average for a budget printer. It does a good...
