Strengths: Easy to install and use. Prints a professional label direct to the CD/DVD. Perfect for DVD-R format disks, since LightScribe does not have any DVD-R format disks available.

One of the best items I purchased in quite some time. A plus to even a small home user. Conmpletes the ability to produce labels to all disks, not just a select few that have Light Scribe ability. Highly recommend, easy to use and a great job produced.

Weakness: The one I received printed letters with missing pieces. It was totally illegible.
This printer is a good idea at the right price. The one I purchased didn't work at all. I returned it and am now contemplating an Epson 220 or 340. The Epson Stylus 200 that I got rid of didn't work reliably but was still better than this Primera piece of junk.
Strengths: Easy to use.
Weakness: No longer worked after first ribbon used. Replacement ribbons are expensive. Technical support non-existent.
It would be great if it worked. After some trial and error, it worked well until I had to change the ribbon. Although easy to use, it malfunctioned - it would not spin the disc so it would ovewrite the same area, and the ribbon kept unwinding! I wasted 2 expensive ribbons. You get NO response from e-mails to customer support. It costs money to speak to anyone. A waste of money!!

This printer is perfect for what I needed it to do: simple labeling of audio cd's that I sell on my website. The software is simple to use, and it prints reasonably fast. Great printer especially for the price!
