Decent printer came with a Kodak camera I bought.

Strengths: Cheap cartridges. Multifunction. LCD screen.

Weakness: Photo function not as good as professional prints.

The regular price of this printer was $149.99, but it came free with an awesome Kodak EasyShare V1253 digital camera I bought. I definitely would not have paid that much for it. I've seen it advertised for around $100. I may not even have paid that for it. But overall, the Kodak printer is okay and it has a copy machine and scanner built-in (which is almost standard nowadays). Ink cartridges are...

5300 all in one by Kodak

Strengths: Prints beautiful photos

Weakness: Disconnects USB flash drives on pc when printer is turned on

The first one I purchased had a burning odor and it was returned. When I received and installed the second NEW replacement it caused numerous problems with my pc. Finally had to pay a computer tech in an effort to resolve them as Kodak's all of Kodak's tech email and telepone support did not. After thoroughly checking my pc and downloading their latest firmware he came to the conclusion the...

Not as Good as I thought it would be....

Strengths: 4x6 prints ONLY!

Weakness: Black ink bleeds and looks like gray and SLOPPY!, Slow and LOUD printing. Prints are not sharp only the 4x6's are!

I thought this would be the perfect printer thats in expensive and that i can use it to print multiple pictures and flyers...ehhhh WRONG ANSWER! The first document i printed the black look like it blead alot the picture wasnt crisp and the black looked more like grayish-blue. I thought maybe it was the paper but it was kodak "anytime picture paper" so that was no excuse my crapy lexmark never did...

4x6 on kodak paper, great! Anything else, TERRIBLE!

Strengths: 4x6 photo printing

Weakness: any other kind of photo printing. any other kind of printing

I watched the infomercial, so I can see now why all they talk about is the 4x6 photo printing. Everything else is terrible. Printing photos on any other kind of paper, INCLUDING full sized kodak paper, looks terrible. But try to print in color on any regular paper, and you are really in for a suprise. Any kind of graphics or pictures have a gray hue to them, and the red ink looks like dried...

Kodak 5300

Strengths: The print looked pretty good until now. I probably thought there were some strengths, but I am too frustrated to remember any.

Weakness: Warranty contact.

About every third line is gray. It worked fine until now. It is still under warranty, but I have not found out who to contact. The warranty expires in two months. I hope I can find a phone number or something before then. There is no trouble-shooting guide.

Nice Printer for The Money

Strengths: Crisp copies, cheap ink, awesome photo printing! 3" LCD display is a plus.

Weakness: Rather bulky in size, compared to similar printers.

This is an excellent printer for the money. Be aware of signifcant price drops off of the $149 retail price. You should have no problem finding one for under $100 if you shop around on-line or watch store sale circulars.

Don't buy it

Strengths: None that i even bothered to try and figure out

Weakness: Not compatible with Wi-Fi Routers

I bought this to replace my Canon PIXMA ip5000. I plugged into my iMac directly, went through the installer, which had an error at the end and wouldn't intall. I downloaded the updated software at kodak.com and ran it through again. It worked this time. I then unplugged it from my iMac and plugged it into my Airport Wireless Router and tried to print. No luck. "Printer is not responding, plesae...

Good bang for your buck

Strengths: If you have a limited budget and are expecting to print good quality photos and documents this is the thing for you.

Weakness: Its certainly not THE best but for the amount of money you spend its an awesome deal.

The best part is that you don't get drained away by the expensive cartridges. If you can spend $10.00 dollars at a macdonalds easily,I think it says a lot if you buy an ink cartridge that lasts a good

Product Printer review

Strengths: Great review screen Memory cards. Low ink useage and reasonable price

Weakness: None

Quality of the printer looks great with the size of the printer and ease of use is an important part of the product. Print quality excellant with the non-fade resistant of the print for long storage of my personal photo's.

A very good AIO product

Strengths: We love Kodak AIO product and this new version is superb. It comes with a LCD that you can clearly see the pictures stored in the card. It's very powerful! We love it!

Weakness: Like other products, the AIO machine also faces the potential problem of quick liquidation of cartridge. We wish Kodak can improve this issue.

Overall, this AIO printer copier and scanner is great because it's easy to use and very powerful. The embedded LCD monitor can help us clearly see the contents stored in the medium card. The quality of printouts are good, compared to other similar products. Our only concern is the quick liquidation of the cartridges, which we hope Kodak can further improve.
