Strengths: Perfect fit for home use. Great to have a copier around the house.
Weakness: None as of yet.
This will be my second 1510. Bought this one for my college student. Love having the copier and scanner as well. Be sure and order extra ink cartridges as they are small. Overall rating is excellent.
Strengths: This printer produces good color on photos and it has good speed.
Weakness: I haven't found any weaknesses yet, but we haven't had it very long yet.
We use this printer on both Mac and PC, and it works equally well on both. This is a versitile and quality printer, and it makes a great addition to our office.
Strengths: Cool design. The price is very cheap.
Weakness: No cards reader.
This is a very good all-in-one printer. I got it for a week and print a lot of pages. It consumes ink a little bit fast but still acceptable. The software are good and let you easily manage photo printing job. Unlike the other version of HP software, installation of this version is so smooth and easy (but still required huge amount of space). It has very important function that cannot found from...
Strengths: Nice looks,PictBridge compatability, Very quiet scanner, Easy-to-use onboard buttons, Can purchase optional photo ink, Excellent copy mode, Comes with the USB code (a rarety these days)
Weakness: Needs tweaking to print photos on non-photo paper correctly. Scan quality could be a tad better. Small ink containers. Cannot close front of printer unless paper is removed. So-so Software.
This all in one is a great little item to pick up if you're in the market for an at-home/personal office/personal use multipurpose printer. It has everything you need in a slick package, and carries the performance to match. The printer offers many modes not commonly found on cheaper printers. An example of this is the ability to adjust the hold time between pages to allow the ink to dry. Another...
Strengths: Prints and copies real fast in black and white and not too bad a time in color and not too noisy when printing
Weakness: Can't think of any.
I have had this HP All-In_one Inkjet Printer since Sept. 28 2005 and it has preformed excellent for me with no problems, is easy to hook up to you computer and the installation software was a breeze to install, I have made and printed Cd inserts, copied all kinds of documents with the scanner and scanned photos in to my PC and works like a dream, can't bet the price would recomend this printer to...
Strengths: Looks nice
Weakness: Mini cartridges run out fast, print quality poor.
Think about this - an all-in-one costs $100 for the unit itself. Ink cartridges, with very occasional home use, cost $385 a year? Avoid this printer, which has minimal features - doesn't even warn you when cartridges are running low. And photo print quality is abysmal. Avoid. Avoid.
Strengths: very user friendly. Produces clear, vibrant pics along with crisp text. The copy feature works excellent also.
The All In One is very user friendly. It produces clear, vibrant pics, along with crisp text. The copy feature works excellent also. My parents were the first to get this model and I am now getting one for my daughter's 19th birthday as she desperately needs it in college. For the money, you cannot find a better machine.
Strengths: Prints fast, easy to install and set-up, very simple
Weakness: no USB cable, installation takes a long time
This product is very nice. It prints fast and very quietly. This printer is also very small compared to other all-in-one's and works great if you are limited in space. This really is the best bang for your buck. It's very useful since it is a scanner, printer, and copier. The design is very simple which is really nice and doesn't have millions of features that you need to learn and mess with....
Strengths: Fast, nice design
Weakness: Jams easily, repeated other malfunctions, hard to use software, archaic Mac support, hard to reboot, poor phone support, extremely slow chat support.
I had to exchange this product after two weeks for complete hardware malfunction, then it broke again one month after manufacturer's warranty expired (fortunately I bought an extended warranty), all with light home office use. I'm buying a top-rated Canon. What would you get, A GMC truck or a Toyota Tundra, duh.
The HP PSC 1510 All-in-One produced the best photos in the group, but they curled considerably. The PSC 1510 was the only entry to finish outputting our mix of business documents in less than six minutes. Photos were also fast at 2:08 for 4 x 6-inch prints, but the 8 x 10-inch prints lagged at 5:21. Copies were

Great multifunction printer for a home setting
Strengths: Good print/copy quality, easy-to-understand control panel, PictBridge interface, relatively inexpensive toner cartridges, good form factor
Weakness: Minor annoyances: prints test page whenever turned on, power brick separate from printer chassis
When our old printer died, we were looking to upgrade to a multifunction printer for a couple of reasons: we had no scanner, and my wife's new job would necessitate some printing and copying from home. We wanted an HP because of their reputation for printers, so it was easy for us to narrow down our search to the PSC series. The 1510 seemed to be the best match for us, since it had good reviews,...
