Strengths: Easy installation..was concern regarding other reviews but it was a SNAP! Small and compact. Nice layout. Printer is great! 4x6 borderless with great results! Scans fast! Fax superb.
Weakness: Ink cartridge expensive but you can buy refill inks which is cheaper. Wish had a built in phone device or just a speakerphone.
Great! Wanted to buy the Canon MP780 because of its consistently nice reviews but this one caught my attention because of its size and simple layout. Installation was a breeze. Remember always to follow instructions. DO NOT CONNECT THE PRINTER TO YOUR COMPUTER VIA USB UNTIL TOLD TO. It takes time to install the software..just be patient and when you its done..its a breeze! Weakness: Software is the pits. Took 9 attempts to load, and still got errors. No reply from HP. Epson loaded in 3.5 minutes.
Noisey, clunky sounds. Took 9 (NINE !!) attempts to load the software and still got software errors all over the place, no way to uninstall (error #1), will not update (error #2), cannot register (error #3), and the list goes on and on. NEVER again will I buy an HP product. Epson, Brother, Lexmark all are quieter, faster, and have good software. MADE IN CHINA? Software from Bangledesh? No wonder....
