Description:
The Officejet 6700 Premium e-All-in-One from HP prints up 16ppm (black) and 9 ppm (color) in 1200 dpi resolution. The printer supports paper sizes up to legal (8.5x14-inch) and can print borderless photos up to 8.5x11-inch. Thanks to its individual ink cartridges and automatic duplex printing, getting the job done at home is more affordable, whether you're printing photos, documents, or brochures. Additionally, you can easily share the printer with other computers on your network using its built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity capabilities. Replace all your printers with one central networked printer to save money, space, and resources. The Officejet 6700 can even multitask (e.g. scanning and printing) so your print job doesn't have to wait for another person's scanning to complete.

Good double-sided printer.
I've already saved a few hundred sheets of paper by using a feature of this printer to print on both sides of each sheet. The documentation could be better at explaining which button on the screen is the numeric shift key when entering a wireless router password, though.

Almost a five star
The only thing keeping this from a five star rating is the absence of any simple way to load and feed an envelope short of emptying the entire paper tray. An envelope feed slot similar to the wonderful old Desk Jet would have been a very welcome touch. Othere than that, speed, features and print quality are all top notch.

This printer has very poor ink cartridge yield.
While the printer works good when working, the printer will not print, even in black when one of the 3 color ink cartridges need to be replaced. Further, although I have purchased 8 other HP multi function printers, I have never owned a printer like this one which requires that all 3 color cartridges need to be replaced at the same time. I have printed less than 1000 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11 paper,...
