How much toner is left?
Strengths: As a basic FAX it does well - I'd buy it again except for one problem.
Weakness: There is no way to tell from the control panel or the toolbox application when the toner is running low. I couldn't believe this but HP support confirmed it. You need to check the page count & guess.
We use this in an office that gets faxes over the weekend - our office manager was not happy when she had to call a bunch of folks back because the toner cartridge ran out. We can only guesstimate based on average page count since last change. Too bad - it's a good machine otherwise.

Great AIO printer with attractive price when you get MIR
Strengths: Great quality All-In-One printer, easy to setup, fast warm up and printing.
Weakness: None so far
Hewlett-Packard has very reliable laser printers. This one among other AIOs, is good for home office and small business use. Cost only $150 after $150 MIR, a very attractive price, even cheaper than a single function laser printer. However HP will make profit over toners. The printing quality is great, and setup is easy and fast.

Hp Laser Jet 3050 support
Strengths: Fast
Weakness: Fax formatter board goes bad quickly. Copies are blurry.
Faxes are received as bar codes. HP knows there is a problem with the formatter board but it took several calls to customer support for the problem to be acknowledged. To fix this under warranty, HP wants to charge $50 for a refurbished copier sent overnight. I want the copier repaired at no cost at the local repair center but HP will not send the part. The part is backordered with a delivery...

LaserJet 3050 All-In-One Printer
Strengths: Clean, sharp type output, quiet, fast. Holds large amount of paper in tray. Makes great-looking copies quickly. Easy set-up.
Weakness: Rather large footprint on desktop, also quite tall. Also, no flatbed for scanning books and items that are not flat.
This is my first laser printer. I use it with the Mac OS X and had no problem setting it up and getting it running. The driver does lack some of the automated features that can be used on a PC, but so far I have not minded this too much. I have not yet run it through all of its paces. I have yet to use the OCR features with the scanner or to send a fax. I am glad to have these features but they...

LaserJet 3050 All-In-One Printer
Strengths: fast printing speed, quality prints, less noisy
Weakness: little bulky, can't scan from book
This all in one printer is good for household use, it have fast printing speed ,quality prints, quick scanning but one thing I don't find in it is that flatbed feature , so I can't scan from book. It is less noisy. Price I paid for it is also reasonable. Overall good for general purpose.
