Strengths: Quality of prints, Borderless prints, Design,Easy to setup with XP, quiet.
Weakness: Kind of huge, That's it
First of all I would like to thank the man above for giving me the chance to purchase this printer, Second I would like to thank HP for this product. I remember when the Photosmart 1315 came out, HP couldn't keep up with it on the product line, it was hard to find. After a couple of months went buy I finally got it. That printer uses 4 inks, about the same with other printers. The only thing that...
Strengths: Very high quality prints. Very easy to operate. Great options.
Weakness: None yet.
This is one of the best photo printers I have ever used. It is very easy to set up and use. I am very happy with it, and it lives up to its claims.
Strengths: Picture quality is great and I love the limited edit features on the printer.
Weakness: Pretty big and the on board memory card reader is WAY too slow!
I had ordered the Canon I900 printer online and when I went to pick it up I let the sales rep talk me into buying the HP 7960. I took my own memory card with me to the store and the HP actually printed a better picture. Once I got it home I saw the lines that everyone complains about. The sales rep says they will fade over time and are not an issue if you use high quality paper. Well, even with...
Strengths: Powerful, from an application or directly from the printer. A wonderful proof sheet that can be scanned and prints the marked items.
Weakness: The fold out paper catcher
Maybe the best printer overall that is available on the market at this time If you wish to see a comparison and complete review for thsi printer suggest you go to this site. www.photo-i.co.uk/Revi... Enjoy
Strengths: Excelent Color & B/W photos. Easy to use. Plenty of options. Fast text printing. Inexpensive Black ink.
Weakness: BIG. Fold out paper catcher. A bit noisy with the paper feed. Expensive Color Ink
I've had this printer for 3 months now and I love it. It is so easy to use and give you so many options. Although using the 59 gray cartridge does improve color photos, I found that using it for this purpose SUCKS the ink quickly. I also found I don't need "perfect" 4x6 photos and only use the gray cartridge for B/W or 8x10 photos where the quality is more noticable. I save on black ink by...
Strengths: Solid, quiet, easy install (WinXP Home), borderless prints, color is absolutely pro-photo quality, long-lasting prints (independently determined).
Weakness: Printing at the best quality - not breakneck speed but not too shabby either. This is not really a true weakness.
I upgraded from an HP990Cse (still doing very well) but the increase in print quality is very evident. Getting an 8.5x11 print (vs. 8x10) is a distinct plus. I very highly recommend this unit. Seven color inkset printing and wide RGB color gamut really makes for brilliant prints. Works best with HP paper, though Kodak Ultima works quite well. I feel HP has really done the homework on inks, papers...
Strengths: The strength was that it has a true black and white true technology. This has the capable of beating every products in the industry for black and white photography. One of the best machine ever
Weakness: The speed of the prints. But overall photo takes time and time is money to get the best of the best.
I like this machines and I would buy this machine again if I didn't already own one. I would recommend this machine to everyone who likes to make photography a true meaning of black and white pictures.
Strengths: Pictures are outstanding. Very easy to set-up. Very easy to use with many wonderful options.
Weakness: None as of yet.
I've only owned Epson's before and this one it the best by far. The pictures are flawless, vivid and quick. They look like just like the prints you would get from 35mm processed.
Strengths: Great quality prints
Weakness: Technical support horrible. Difficult to print envelopes and note pad sized paper. Toner replacements are pricey.
While giving great quality photo prints...the design to use the "paper tray" for envelopes and notepad paper is horribly designed. Toner is pricey. I have never owned anything but HP printers and must admit this one is a bit disappointing. Tech support is also very poor. Yesterday I called tech support about the same problem and the quality of support was very bad. No one had a solution which...

HP (Hewlett-Packard) Photosmart 7960 Inkjet Printer...
Strengths: Picture quality is very good. Speed is acceptable however, I'm fussy so I mostly use the highest print quality settings and sacrafice speed.
Weakness: Paper feeds doubles with heavier # paper. Always use single sheet feeding w/photo paper to reduce misfeed costs. Foot print is rather large at ~21". Ink consumption >$'s/sh more than HP 722 & 810
Overall I'm pleased with the printer however only because of a couple features that my HP 722 did not have. 1) borderless printing 2) Higher DPI printingso print quality on larger prints is very good. It prints fairly quietly. Photo printing speed is only marginally better and the fast normal B/W printing setting is fast. The printer footprint is larger, just under 21". More mis-feeds / doubles...
