Strengths: Text is very clear, Quick prints, Duplexing
Weakness: I know its pretty much industry standard but this no USB cable business is pretty lame in my book... especially for a 300+ dollar printer
I upgraded to this printer from a Compaq IJ 600, which really shouldn't be compared to this. Between school and work I found myself printing many lengthy documents and ink costs were getting out of hand. I was going through four or five cartridges a year at 32 bucks a cartridge not to mention all sorts of malfunctions and paper jams. After about a month of research I decided on this printer based...
Strengths: The PostScript cabilities are great and much needed for any user that needs this type of output. No longer are my filing cabinets of anything printed from my computer bulging with single-sided documents.
Weakness: The only issues are that there is no supplied cable
The print quality is excellent, and time to first page print from cold-start is very short. I love the duplexing on this unit and the ability to print 2 & 4 up. My main complaint about this printers is the manual feed function. Basically, I think the 1320 has some fundamental design flaws with regard to manual feeds. I can now do envelopes reliably with the method described below, but feeding...
Strengths: Great printouts and loaded with features
Weakness: No LCD display
This is a great printer value for the money. Not only does it produce great looking printouts, but does duplex (double-sided) printing automatically. My previous hp printer did 30 ppm while this one does 22--for $250 less. Add in the $100 rebate from hp and it makes it an even better bargain. I usually dread printer installs, but this one was a breeze! Only problem is that I wish the 1320 had an...
Strengths: Decent hardware, 1 minute Linux cups config
Weakness: Windows crapware the printer comes with is absolutely awful. Forget about it if you have a router.
The usual story of the modern age: ok hardware and crappy software. It's absolutely awful: the driver WON'T show up in the list of the printer drivers even now that I connected the printer directly thru a usb cable. You can NOT hook it up using the standard Windows 2000/XP printer services. It insists on its own P.O.S. software. This should be bundled with a windows admin rental to hookup on...
Strengths: The priner is very compact and can perform double side copies.
Weakness: It can only hold regular paper. All other forms of printing must be manually fed.
Overall Hewlett Packard produces excellent equipment. This printer is no exception. Hopefully, in the future the price will be lower. It produces 8 pages a minute which is really excellent for this size machine.
Strengths: Sharp Clear Text, Economical printing
Weakness: None
Very quick laser printer with clear text results that are easy to read. It does what it says it will do. Great Buy and Price is not too bad also.
Strengths: None
Weakness: Needs constant care. Otherwise, it will break
I already wrote a review on this below, saying that this is the worst printer I ever used. Ever! Today, it finally broke down. To be careful, I always feed 40-50 pages to the tray. I was refilling to print when I heard a crack, and the paper pickup roller broke into pieces. I will attempt to get a fix on this. If I need to buy a new one, it will not be a HP.
Strengths: Good priinter for home use.
Weakness: None that I am aware of at this time
I found this printer more than adequate for home use. The setup is easy and it works as advertised. For the short time I have had this printer, I could find no faults with it.
Strengths: Prompt output, very fast, quiet, can purge a job at the touch of a button, and especially the automatic duplexing.
Weakness: Feeding an envelope or a letterhead is a minor nuisance. Manual on disk, not booklet.Sony ICF-S79V Weather Band Shower Radio
I've had none of the problems that the others reported. My unit seems quiet at its loudest, does just fine in printing tables with lines crossing at right angles (admittedly not exactly sheet music, though), and properly handles envelopes and letterheads fed through the slot in the front. Perhaps others had the problems they reported because they used paper of a kind that suits this printer...

HP (Hewlett-Packard) LaserJet 1320 Laser Printer -...
Strengths: A fantastic and fast printer for the price! Excellent text and graphics. A well made printer that will last for many years.
Weakness: None.
It is a great printer that can be upgraded to the maximum 144MB with no problems. I bought my generic 128MB 100 pin (C9121A) from Kahlon (via PriceGrabber.com) for $25 plus tax and shipping. There is easy access to the memory slot behind the left side 'pop away' panel. Unplug the power cord, remove the left panel, and then plug-in the memory. It is that easy and you have 144MB! The one-sided...
