Strengths: Great print quality and fast!

This is a great printer for all uses! I purchased it to print company flyers and photos and the quality and speed is great! I also like how it actually cancels a print as soon as you press the stop button instead, like most printers I have used, finishes printing what was already in memory. If you are looking for a budget, color printer, this is definitly a great one!
Strengths: Fast & efficient.
Weakness: None so far.
Prints great photos! Great for creating my scrapbooking layouts. When you cancel a print job it stops immediately and doesn't spit out 40 more pages of unintelligable characters. User friendly...I love it!
Strengths: Easy setup, reliable.
Weakness: Ink gets costly, but that's the same for all inkjet printers.
I replaced an older HP printer with this one. I never had any problems with my old HP. I did some research and found the 6540 was highly recommeded. I would definitely buy it again!

A Decent HP Printer
Strengths: Fast, quiet and easy to set up. Good quality prints. Photo quality a step up from my earlier Epson printer.
Weakness: The indicator lights on the machine are a little confusing to me yet and it has the usual inkjet problems; expensive ink!
Good out of the box experience. HP makes set up a breeze. USB connection makes the printer easy to move around or connect to a laptop. Installation went smoothly and setting the printer up as a shared printer was also simple. We enjoy how it produces collated print jobs that only need to be stapled. Color is good and looks great on photo paper though photos were a little bit strange looking...
