Strengths: The actual color photos are quite good. Slide scan worked ok.
Weakness: Can't do B&W copy / scan without using color ink, ink hog, paper jams with super-loud noise, scanner seems to jam after opening it up to replace ink (too often). CS does the transfer / cutr-off thing
Bought this >1 yr ago for ~$350. For B&W copies, it uses a bit of color ink each time. Phoned Customer Service, they said it does this to improve quality. I said this is unacceptable, fraud. Was transferred and then cut-off. I later looked this up and saw some printers do this - Epson's do. This is a joke, especially consideri g in general this thing is an ink hog, and the ink is expensive. As...
Strengths: can print film
Weakness: can't print onto printable cd's and dvd's
It almost has everything you would need. The photo prints are of high quality and a good scanner. It can print film and slides, which is awesome. It's too bad it can't print onto printable media like rx700. Since the price was right, this will do for now.
Strengths: several
Weakness: no number key
you can print all small photos from memory card in one paper as a reference, and then decide to print which one. You can connect this printer directly to DC, and USB drive. This printer has no number key, so if you want to make a large quantity of copy, it will make a trouble. The scanner is very good.
Strengths: memory card and pictbridge connection, versatile printer/scanner, simple controls, includes slide/negative scanner
Weakness: large footprint, noisy scanner/printer, only adequate print quality, no duplexer, slide connection easily damaged
For the money, the Epson RX620 is a capable and competent AIO printer. To qualify the statement "for the money", I must state that while the MSRP is $299 (same as the Canon MP800), it it available for significantly less (both direct from Epson online and at local stores) after rebates and other discounts. If I were to pay full price for this product, I would be much harsher. As it is, I would...
Strengths: Easy to use copier. Seperate ink cartridges. Nice looking and quiet.
Weakness: A little slower than I anticipated. A lot more complicated than I expected from the prior reviews I read.
This printer took me a while to figure out. All the menus were a little confusing for me. But I am no computer or printer whiz. Once I got it, it is a nice printer. I really wanted an all in one. I had just bought a 7.2 megapixel digital camera and can't wait to see my daughter's London trip pics when she gets back!
Strengths: Fabulous photo printer,built-in card reader, bright built-in color LCD screen
Weakness: All drivers and dialog boxes are Windows-like.No Mac
The RX620 is a great value for the money, and its a fabulous photo printer. It has a built-in card reader, which you can use to print photos directly off of your digital camera's memory card. The built-in color LCD screen is bright and allows you to check ink level on the device without resorting to a utility on the computer. That's convenient. The RX620 is packed with features and offers superb...
Strengths: Good quality text copies, or color/photo printouts, ink is easy to replace & inexpensive IF you buy generic brand.
Weakness: A little slow
This printer puts out great quality text copies or color copies. It is a little slow, but that is okay, as I prefer quality over speed; plus if you want something faster, you need to spend more $. I really like the color status display, very user friendly. Epson ink is expensive, but if you buy generic brands online, you will be okay regarding ink price. Gives great scans with varying DPI that...
Strengths: it has more up to date technology, such as 6 ink tanks design, color screen, and media card slots.
Weakness: It dumps ink on a regular basis. It takes a long time for it to start printing. it's also a bit loud when scanning.
I had a favorable review of it when I first got it, until I found out it dumps ink on a regular basis (ie if you don't use it for a couple of days). There are two pads to collect the wasted ink; I'm not kidding. Epson's excuse might be it wants to clear the print head, but that's a ridiculous design to force the user to buy more of their heavenly priced ink; HP and others might have the same...
Strengths: Nice pictures and easy to use
I wanted a 3 in one machine that would print out crisp beautiful prints. For a home machine I have been nothing but impressed so far!! I am so pleased with the ease of use and set up. I would recommend highly!

Prints photos and scans (including film) very well, but copies slowly. Prints on plain paper were very unattractive.

The Stylus Photo RX620 is one of the rare multifunction inkjet printers that can really claim to be photo quality. Based on the Stylus Photo R300 printer - one of the best - it's the only model that simultaneously uses six separate ink tanks, two of which are dedicated to improving color printing. Added to that is a scanner that's astoundingly fast and innovative functions like a PictBridge...

Excellent All-in-One Printer
Strengths: Memory card reader built in, color screen
Weakness: Slow printing
It's a very nice machine that can copy, print and scan. However, it doesn't have fax function, a little bit disappointed for home business user. The installment is easy, copy and printing are perfect, the only trouble to me is that takes a large amount of space on the table.
