I am very happy with this printer. It is compact, portable and yield great picture quality. Setup was as easy as you can get. I now use it everytime when i need to print a 4x6 size phone. Highly recommended.

Just printed my first photos off my new digital camera and the PictureMate worked beautifully. The pictures are as good as any photo lab and they are in your hand faster and as cheap as any store. I recommend this product to anyone wanting fast pictures and good results.
Strengths: The quality of this printer is really great. It was a breeze to set up.
Weakness: The only one I can find so far (which happens with most printers nowadays) is the ink. The cartridge contains all the colors so once one runs out, you have to replace the whole thing.
When I first took the PictureMate out of the box I wondered if something that small could give the quality that you get at Walgreens, CVS, etc. In my opinion, the quality that you get from this printer surpasses that, and as a bonus you don't have to drive to the store to do it. Very easy to set it up. 5 minutes was all it took me from opening the box and printing out my photos. The prints came out wonderful each and everytime. I was amazed at how this little printer puts out such great quality.

I got the printer free after rebate with a digital camera purchase from circuit city. The size of the photo printer is portable. With a handle besides the edges, it is easy to carry the printer from one place to another. The photo quality is acceptable. If considering it as a free item, nothing can be complained about.

Weakness: On all of these type of printers, the cost of ink is always a concern. Battery pack is expensive.
The best thing about this printer is you do not have to go through your computer to use it. It prints high quality prints and does so quickly. So often, you just never get around to printing photos as it can be a hassle to go through the steps on a computer to do so. I find I like actually looking (and showing) great hardcopy photos again instead making everyone gather around the computer screen....

Epson picturemate snap PM 240 is a great, affordable and portable photo printer. The best part of the printer is you do not need a PC to print photos. You can use the media card slots to view the photos taken in the photo viewer LCD, do some changes (like red eye fixing), and then print the photos. The top cover keeps the LCD and printer menu panel well protected from accidental damage etc....
