Strengths: Probably one of the best printers for the price. Even the more expensive ones don't all come with media readers. Easy setup.
Weakness: Slow printing of text. LCD screen turns itself off too soon but no way of changing time frame. As you can tell, not too many weaknesses for a printer of this price level.
This is a great printer for the price. Many of the same features that the more expensive ones come with but at a value. If you are photo buff than this is not for you but for the casual user with a reasonable budget you have found your printer.
Strengths: This printer has everything! The scanner, copy, and printing functions in one device is very convenient, and the MP470 does all of them very well. Preferences can be set right on the printer's screen.
Weakness: The device is a bit bigger than I expected, but is still reasonable. Also, the ink level seems to go down quickly.
Overall, the MP470 is a great value! The prints comes out very sharp and the software that comes with it is useful and intuitive. It is very easy to set up and install out of the box. I would recommend this printer!

Copies and photoprints look excellent, but it appears to use a lot of ink so am concerned this might be an expensive investment in the long term. Very easy to setup. Looks very nice.
