The compact design is great to carry in a photo bag with your camera so that you can get a look at shots after you take them. I previously owned an Olympus P-300 dye-sub printer. The increased quality is wonderful. The printer does not have the extra features of an LCD or media slots, but for my use, the compact size is more valuable.

Canon CP-330 Dye Sublimation Printer
Strengths: high quality clear pictures, compact enought to take on trips
I love this printer, it may take a little longer to print pictures, but the pictures are clear, colors are excellent and it's very easy to use. You can print on postcards, so the pictures are sturdier than others and as an added bonus you can address the back and drop in the mail. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a compact phot printer.
