This is the best way to increase your laptop performance especially at the low prices currently being offered. Crucial is a brand I have a lot of experience with and am more than satisfied. Check the crucial memory finder to ensure compatibility with your system. worth the upgrade at memory prices given that operating systems need more random access memory to function more efficiently.

Crucial 4GB Laptop Memory Kit

good quality notebook memory. I have purchased quite a few crucial (now associated with lexar) products and am satisfied with quality and performance. Paid approximately $20 after rebate in November 2008. As always, check compatability with your notebook to be on the safe side. Weakness: Pricegrabber needs to actually show accurate pricing..
I have noticed that Pricegrabber does not update their pricing information and when you go to the actual company website you get a different price. Pricegrabber is making companies look bad by providing false information!

affordable memory for laptop
Strengths: works as expected, great price, good warranty
Weakness: none
Memory worked as expected. Dramatically better performance with these 4G than with 512M (Windows XP). Assuming rebate comes through the final price will be under $20. Could not pass it up, had to buy it.
