Best Print Server on the Market. Works with any printer installation is very easy. I have used many brands and models and this one is absolutely flawless. *****Recommended*****
Strengths: would be good for price if it worked
Weakness: does not work
I am very skilled with networking, as I do it for a living. Tried to hook up an HP882c, which is a very standard printer. The print device is recognized on the network, but it prints garble. Worked with all settings, formats, and reinstalling drivers, no dice. The support is only offered by phone, you pay long distance, during weekly business hours. Manual is not helpful for troubleshooting.
DLink DP-301U Printer Server a Keeper
Strengths: Fairly straightforward installation with an Epson R1800 printer. Printer visible to both my Mac and PC.
Weakness: The Epson tools that show ink levels, etc, do not work through this interface device.
All in all, this solved my problem for a small amount of money. I have ethernet and want to share printers, but many popular printers do not come with 10/100baseT support. I am considering a second unit for another, inexpensive laser printer.
