As usual with Corsair, this 1000W Power Supply is very robust and reliable. This is my second Corsair power supply and it is just great. Does all you can expect from a PS, and does it well. Modular cables and 8-pin PCIe make it ready for the new cards coming out. Even though it is pretty pricey, it can be worth it if you are looking for reliability.
Strengths: Plenty of amps (80) , plug-ins and cables , nice finish , 5yr warranty with Corsair name and reputation .

This psu has been used in p2 300mhz dell computer, p4 2ghz and it works as it should. This should be overkill for average pc users, but I'm using this for futureproofing on a quad processor pc to be built soon. 1000 watts does not mean it uses more power than any psu's with less wattage rating, but it means it can handle up to 1000 watts.
