i bought this psu because it was cheap and i was building a budget computer. i opened it up so i could sleeve the wires and to my suprise it has some pretty heavy duty parts!

This power supply was purchased from CLT Computer/Mwave.com/Multiwave and I got it in just a few days without paying anything more than standard shipping. I got this power supply because my computer was shutting off unexpectedly after being on 5-15 minutes. After installing the Apex, my problem magically went away, and I became popular with my family again! I've had it installed for two months...
Strengths: Capatibility was good! Price was very good! Shipping was a plus (free)! Lots of buyers look for the free shipping.

The way that the power supply was packaged was secure. Shipping arrived in a very timely manner. Product appears clean and unused. Product works efficiently. Apex name tends to be a highly reccomended name and I would most definetly reccomend it to someone I know!! John
Strengths: Good power
This power supply runs quiet and works flawless. It fit the Mid Tower case perfectly and was no trouble installing. There were plenty of power source cables available.
Strengths: Easy install, started right up and solved all my problems for that day.
Weakness: Had to find mounting screws that would fit. Appreciated the power cord.
I had no problems what so ever. Installed easily and is working great. I had to find mounting screws to fit because the old ones didn't. Other then that was a great product. Great Service!
Replaced a Powermax power supply that went bad. Just looking through the ventilation grill, I could see that the components (transformer, inductor, cables) were much beefier in the Allied power supply

Weakness: didn't last long
The power supply was great while it lasted, but recently, several of our computers at the office have had issues with them. They start making a high pitch squel and the systems start rebooting. It's amazing that all these systems were bought at the same time, and they all went down within days of each other. Almost like there was a set time delay that the power supplie would go out on.

I bought this as a replacement PSU for my wifes office computer. Works good...so far. I only bought it because of the price however im wondering if i should have spent a little more money for a brand name power supply. Its always been my thought that you get what you pay for......

It is a very good power supply unit. It is better than Dell's. My PC works better than before. It is powerfull and quiet. Also, it fits for most models of PC's.
