Good alternative if You don't like Iphone
Strengths:  Innovative, Sliding keyboard, Backlit Keypad
Weaknesses:  Low resolution Web-cam, Fewer Languages Support, lack of media support, flaw GPS design, No SD card support.
Review:  The N810 is a good internet tablet for checking emails and web surfing. It loads pretty fast at the push of botton, surfing and emailing are easy, and with linux, you have tons of apps to add if you like. If there's any bad I could speak of the device, the GPS design and the lack of SD card support. N810 comes with integral GPS module, but it doesn't mean that you can use GPS like any o...

Unremarkable overall
Strengths:  Fast processor, WM6, good quality sound, reasonable size, SDHC support
Weaknesses:  Slower than previous models that sported the same speed processor; requires harder screen taps/strokes than any other PDA I've ever owned; frequ...
Review:  It's nice to see that the power PDA market isn't totally dead. Many of us want a PDA with these features, without adding a phone. It's just that this unit seems mediocre overall...with a slower-than-expected performance, given its 624MHz processor, and somewhat washed-out appearing screen. It freezes often during Syncs (but doesn't require a reset; if you just wait a couple...

Palm T|X
Strengths:  Lots of great bundled software.
Weaknesses:  Not enough memory.
Review:  The display is lovely - clear and crisp. Love the wifi, but it uses lots of battery life. HotSync is quick. I love pTunes - add music to the t|x, but that also means using up the limited memory. Very light. Recommend purchasing the hard case to protect your t|x.

OK for now
Strengths:  Palm OS
Weaknesses:  Units built to fail with heavy use
Review:  I'm stuck on palm OS, this is my 15th palm PDA. I now expect units to fail within 1 year, usually last about 8 months (I'm a heavy user.) Until I migrate to smartphone or Windows OS I'll just keep buying these.

Very good Pocket pc ipaq 210
Strengths:  Fastness, quality built
Weaknesses:  None
Review:  This ipaq 210 is really very fast. it connect to the internet in few seconds. there is great expansion choice as it has both sdhc slot and cf card slot. it is very light weight eventhough it has bigger high resolution screen and bigger size. Wm6 is an added benifit to this.it is more useful as a fulfledged pocket pc compared to the previous models and is very useful in corporate environment as we...

iPAQ 111 PDA
Strengths:  Full-featured, Small and light packaging, Good price.
Weaknesses:  Buttons do not have quality feel to them. No hardware screen lock button. Only QVGA screen.
Review:  I bought this unit as a replacement for my Acer n311 which has a broken screen. I was drawn to the iPaq 111 on price and features, and this unit does not disappoint. Fast processer, lots of memory, full SD card slot, Wi-Fi/g and BT 2.0 EDR. The 111 has it all in spades. The lack of a hardware screen lock button is a drag because I carry the 111 in my pocket with no case (for fast access). Th...

Strengths:  easy and straightforward to use, works well as an organizer, appointment book, etc.
Weaknesses:  screen resolution is not adequate for viewing pictures, memory is only 32MB.
Review:  This is a very nice unit for somebody like me who does not need cellphone, Bluetooth, wireless and other fancy stuff on their PDA, just the basics. It is easy to use and affordable. The screen resolution is not good though - ina picture of a sky you could clearly see the pixels. 32MB is adequate for an organizer, but you need more memory if you are going to download e-books on it. In conclusio...

Strengths:  Functionality, speed, Microsoft Office programs pre-loaded, Wi-Fi capability
Weaknesses:  Occasionally need to reset to dump memory
Review:  I am a medical student that has loaded numerous medical programs onto this PDA for reference, and it performs very well. I am able to connect to Wi-Fi networks easily and access the Internet, as well as my email. Bluetooth syncing with my laptop is a breeze. The only problem I have with the iPAQ 110 is that sometimes if you're running too many programs at once, RAM is used up and some progra...

Strengths:  Great color. Good software bundle.
Weaknesses:  No cradle.
Review:  Either it is too new or Palm isn't supporting it well. You can't buy additional cables from them for Hot Sync. ie: One for laptop and one for desktop. There are just "not available". You can't get a slim leather case for it either.....

Generally good; some weaknesses
Strengths:  Nice display. I like the landscape mode. It has a nice feal to it. Windows Mobile 6 was preloaded on it.
Weaknesses:  Only USB1.1. USB syncing cable is only 3' long. Windows Media player volume is too low - even at 100% it isn't very loud. I have frequen...
Review:  The SD card will only handle 4GB, so if you want to use this as your primary MP3 player, you can't if you have a lot of music. This ties in with my comment about the volume as well. I plugged it into my car and it wasn't loud enough.

Strengths:  cost
Weaknesses:  low memory, no backlight, only 4 keys
Review:  I enjoy using my Zire. It works fairly well, and its low cost is one of its best features. If you are looking for an easy to use, basic pda, I would highly recommend the Zire. It is not good for some uses though, do to its skimpy 2MB of memory and lack of backlight. Another complaint is its lack of the traditional 6 buttons, which makes it a much more capable gaming machine (it doesn't compl...

Strengths:  memory
Weaknesses:  slow
Review:  Its nice to have a PDA versus the old planner. Bulker and heaver ;[ The T5 is a bit slow in running the word docs and programs. The screen quality is good. Having all the neccessay files at hand is nice. All in all it was a good purchase.

Strengths:  integrated 1.2-megapixel camera with video-record function; Bluetooth; fast processor; multimedia support; robust software bundle; expansion slot.
Weaknesses:  No Wi-Fi; lacks camera lens cover; battery not user-replaceable.
Review:  If you can live without Wi-Fi, the midpriced PalmOne Zire 72 is a well-rounded PDA with features suited for both work and play. As the popular Zire 71 goes into retirement, the Zire 72 is here to take its place. Boasting more memory and a faster processor, the PalmOne Zire 72 also lets you take photos and videos, connect to devices via Bluetooth, listen to music, and watch videos. Its eye-cat...

hp ipaq hx2495
Strengths:  newest windows mobile 5.0, good design.
Weaknesses:  screen is small, only 3.5 inch. sound quality is not so good. Very often, it makes errors when it comes back from suspend mode.
Review:  I bought it for personal schedule and auto navigation. screen is not bright enough for navigation purpose, and it is not good for navigation purpose, because it's got so slow in terms of processing GPS signal. However, it's good for personal schedule, and email check.

Review:  I was looking for PDA with GPS capabilities on the market for a long time. I don't need camera or phone features on my PDA since for this I would use my cell phone anyway and camera with better resolution than any embedded one. On the other hand, I wanted not GPS-only device, but PDA with essential features such as multimedia support and simple office capabilities. Asus a696 immediately go...

Strengths:  Full VGA screen, choice of portrait or landscape view, built-in wi-fi and bluetooth
Weaknesses:  Touchpad vs rocker button for navigation, 90-day warranty
Review:  Display really looks good and landscape photos are a lot larger and easier to view in landscape mode. Wi-fi works well even with WEP turned on and broadcast mode turned off (i.e, wi-fi system does not broadcast its name). Only drawback is the 90-day warranty, an insult to have such a short period of protection for a device this expensive.
