Strengths: Has excellent display. Good mix of bundled software. The built-in MP3 player is SWEET
Weakness: Older version of Palm OS (4.1). Case is not hard metal. Charging/Sync cables could be better. Provided strap too short if right handed.
Picked up this item to replace 8MB Palm M505. I prefer this PDA over an iPaq h1910 that I also own. User interface/Jog dial allows one hand operation and the bundled software installed easily on Outlook 2K/WinXP. The MP3 player requires a memory stick, but software allows direct import to PDA using USB driver. I purchased a 3rd party aircraft grade aluminum PDA case to protect the PDA from...
Strengths: Palm IIIXE finally died on me-Was able to hot sync all previous Palm desktop data to the Clie w/o any problem at all. Am very impressed w/color screen resolution.
Weakness: A desktop cradle isn't included, cable only.
If you don't need or desire a lot of the latest available PDA features, this is a very solid model. This is the first model I've had w/color screen, well worth the extra money.

Sony, bent on constantly improving their PDA line, has Introduced an enhanced version of the popular SJ30 only 5 months after the SJ30 was released. The SJ33 adds a built-in MP3 player and a 2x faster processor, yet lists for the same price as the SJ30 did when it was released. The SJ33 is a reasonably priced color PDA that competes well with low end Pocket PCs and Palms alike. It runs Palm OS...

Sony SJ33 CLIE PDA
Strengths: Great Color Screen, Jog Dial, MS Expansion, Hard Cover, MP3 Player, Great Battery Life
Weakness: 16 Meg Onboard RAM Fills up quick.
This is a great palm device. Running palm os 4 it is quick and stable. Lots of free and demo software included in the package. Set the contrast down to about 30% and you should have no problems wiht battery life. The Jog Dial is a great touch and the main reason that I'm sticking wiht sony and not Palm or Handspring.
