Strengths: Dual slots, small size, fast
Weakness: Minor - no record button or scroll wheel, small touchpad, CF slug can get lost easily. Less usable memory and flash storage than most comparable units
Overall, I love this thing. Having two slots is fantastic - I can boost my effective memory with a 512MB SD card and still use a variety of peripherals in the CF slot (modem, WLAN, and especially GPS). CF slots are getting less common, but there are still a lot of peripherals for them, and SD equivalents are still rare and expensive (and even if I had an SD GPS unit, where would I store the large...
Strengths: This product is nearly second to none in bang for your buck, overall satisfaction, quality and excellent design!!! Buttons are sized right and funtionality is superb!!!
Weakness: PC World has (again) stated wrong information: This device does NOT contain a Mic input plug like it states, it's built in! The PDA though; no known weaknesses to offer!
Wonderful product, email me personally if you question something [axnjxn@t-online.de]. I was immensely surprised on how competently built this product was designed. With NEVO, how could you loose? NEVO rocks!! Need to controll alllll of your electronics? This has the ability to control all of them and learn from all remotes too! Kicks butt!!! You will be pleased!
Strengths: Sleek Design,Fast processor,Bluetooth,Dual Expansion slot and affordable price
Weakness: None
Finally HP came out with a produt that looks into future. Bluetooth device for wireless conectivity is excellent.Actually I use it as a navigation system with GPS receiver.Dual expansion slot is a great bonous. I am so pleased with this product that I ordered one for my wife. I would reccomend it to many of my friends....
Strengths: Compact Flash and Secure Digital Slots Small and light (compared to older PDAs) Fast 400 MHz processor Nice extra software (Nevo remote control, HP Mobile Printing) Replaceable battery
Weakness: Larger than other PDAs like the 1945 Expensive
I used to have a Jornada 525, but got tired of not being able to install new games and software on it. It was pretty big and clunky too. So I decided to get a new HP IPAQ. Since I did not want to spend a lot of money buying secure digital cards when I have plenty of compact flash cards, my only choice in the HP IPAQ line was the 2215 (which is supposed to be the same as the 2210). Once I saw it...
Strengths: Relatively light, small, powerful and expandable
Weakness: Systems tend to get unstable at times -- especially after "sync and pull", system won't turn on unless reset
This is a very handy PDA. Not only does it support CF and SD, it also produce clear and crisp music. I was debating between iPaq H1945 and H2215, but considering the regular cable vs. the "included" cradle, 2.5mm vs. standard 3.5mm ear phone jack and the Intel 400 vs. SamSung 266MHz processor, I have chosen the H2215 over the H1945, at a cost of extra ~$100. This is afterall a great PDA.
Strengths: compact size, screen resolution, dual slots, PPC 2003, company
Weakness: No built-in WiFi, lower capacity battery, no cover for SD slot
I owned the iPAQ 3650 (original color version) and 3150 (monochrome) previously. Both worked flawlessly but with the needed CompactFlash sleeve adapter were pretty much bricks. Also the lack of a user replaceable battery hurt. I flirted with the Toshiba models... smaller, CF slots on board as well as WiFi. But the screen on the Toshiba's never matched my trusty 2 yr old 3650. In comes the new...
Strengths: Small, light, stylish, 2 memory slots, easy to configure/use.
Weakness: Battery life.
I bought one of these for my wife a few weeks ago. Not previously being enamoured by PDA's very much, I wasn't expecting much, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This was very easy to setup, and to use, and works seamlessly with our PC. This PDA has totally changed the way that I think about PDA's. I may even buy one for myself now.
Strengths: I love my 2215, esp. w/ the expansion slots. The 1910 has a much better display. Why?? My 2215 is better than the HP 568. 2215 works great and feels good in my hand. Good product. It's fast, reliable
Weakness: 1910 has best display, 2215 is pretty good.
Buy 2215 u wont be disappointed. HP needs to put the 1910 screen in the 2215 model. I love the expansion cards to back up my 2215 and to add more memory. Over all the 2215 is excellant.
Strengths: Compact, light, very functional. Secure Digital and Compact Flash Slots. Bluetooth, bright and clear screen.
Weakness: Boot up time from a soft reset.
I have owned three iPaqs previous to this one and I am happy with this one the most. An iPaq with a Compact Flash slot!!! Who would have thought! It is very light and faster than my 3955 was. The screen is not as nice as my 3955 was, but is still great. The only thing I do not like about the 22xx series and the 19xx series iPaqs is that some of the ROM is loaded onto RAM after a soft reset. This...
The iPAQ 2210 and 2215 is big news. Why? The 2210/2215 is the first iPAQ with an integrated CF slot and SD slot, and at a relatively modest $399, it packs a lot of bang for the buck. It's also one of the first Pocket PC 2003 PDAs to hit the market. In fact, Microsoft is scheduled to officially announce the release of Pocket PC 2003 PDAs on June 23rd, but some 2210 and 2215's have hit the shelves...

HP (Hewlett-Packard) iPAQ h2215 Pocket PC
Strengths: Dual Slot - Pocket PC 2003 - iPaq support community - Impressively fast - Easy to learn
Weakness: Rear speaker (what were they thinking?) - cheap nylon carrying case
This was my first mobile device, and I'm very happy with it. Very easy to learn the basics, and with the great forums and newsgroups out there, very easy to learn advanced topics. Simply put, there hasn't been a thing yet that I have wanted to do with it that I have not been able to figure out. Highlights of the first 10 days: DivX Movies at a steady 30 FPS using MVP - Browse the Internet 30 feet...
