Strengths: Easy to follow manual,easy Bio's updates,board is layed out very nicely and the OC'ing GURU makes overclocking very simple.
Weakness: None, that I've found.
I've used other brands of motherboards before, which had difficult or incomplete directions to follow and weren't written as well as this one. Weakness: Sucks when running xp 32 bit on it. usb locks up whole computer. locks up easily
I am running an amd 4200 x2 processor with 1 gig of ram. I loaded up windows xp 32 bit version on it and the computer is very flaky. If I copy to many files through the usb port the whole computer locks up. I am on my second abit mother board since the firs one died after 7 days. Good Mobo
Strengths: Very easy overclocking, Gotta love the OC'ing. Guru is crazy good, and the AN8 has a strong Nvidia chipset that wont dissapoint. You also in terms of bundled pakaging
Weakness: Could be cheaper...
Nice board. I suggest get the lower priced AN8. The only difference? Absence of the Ramflow device, and you dont get the Guru monitoring system. I still think it should be more competitivly priced.
