Strengths: Simple, slim modernist. Easy to nav, like the samsung monitors they have the diffrent screen profile for text, grapics, etc etc
Weakness: buttons suck, they are too small and located on the bottom.
has dvi + vga, really minimal when compared to the 22 version 2 with all the buttons. overall I would say it's good for the price. Remember to use a dvi cable, the res is better
Strengths: Easy to plug in
Weakness: Goes out after 10 months, warranty not honored, D-sub connection with adapter flickers and you must use a DVI to DVI, color not good, controls on back
I purchased the Westinghouse LCM-22w2 monitor 10 months ago for $315 from an Ebay reseller who purchased this monitor at Best Buy 4 days before I bought it. It came factory sealed. (Best Buy was sold out when I drove 2 hours to get one.) It has gone out after 10 months of use and Westinghouse will not honor the warranty nor give me any help with figuring out what is wrong with it to service it. I...
Strengths: Nice clear monitor at a good price.
Weakness: None.
This monitor looks good. When I unpackaged it something seemed to be rattling around inside. The monitor work fine and has a good warrenty so I am not concerned about any issues. No dead pixels or any issues with the quality of the image.
Strengths: No dead pixels, good price
Weakness: only 6bit
This is exactly what I was looking for in a 22" LCD monitor. The colors are very vivid, and for basic computing this looks great. Haven't used it in games or photo editing, but for everything else, this is all you need.
Strengths: Monitor is more then bright enough for my office area - typically run brightness at the lowest setting.
Weakness: Configuration buttons are too small and hard to get to. Built in speakers are not worth the effort.
Purchased at BB during a recent sale. 3 bad pixels - two located at the top edge of the screen and are no issue, one located in middle of screen (Not as bad as the Sony CRT thin wires that hold the mask that are very noticeable)
Strengths: I purchased this monitor after Black Friday but at BF price from Target.com. The quality is far superior to my FujiPlus 19" LCD as well as my x2gen 19" LCD.
Weakness: The osd buttons are a bit inconvenient and takes some getting use to. Does not come with DVI cable
A great monitor for a great price. Once I connected it I played some movies and games, the performace was great. Also hooked it up directly with a DVD player and played a movie with it. Worked fantastic. All in all, great buy. Recommended.

Westinghouse 22 inch monitor
Strengths: clear rich colors
Weakness: some backlight bleeding at top and bottom
I bought the Westinghouse 22 inch LCM-22w3 widescreen monitor when my 19 CRT stopped working. I purchased it at Best Buy for $180 when it was on sale in August 2007 (I think). It's my first LCD monitor (my wife has one but I have always used CRTs because I game quite a bit and thought the CRT was better for that). The monitor is great. I have it hooked up to a new PC that I built with an 8800 GTS...
