The 730B is very bright and responsive. There is essentially no difference between a CRT monitor and this screen when it comes to speed. Colors are vivid and the screen can be set to be very bright; black is deep and not washed out. Excellent viewing angles. It also has a long 3 year warranty from Samsung.
Strengths: Fast Response time 8ms. DVI capable. Low Price for High End LCD screen. 3 year warrenty and the brand name of Samsung.
Weakness: If you wish to use DVI, then you will have to purchase a cable. Samsung requires the DVI-D cable.

This is my first LCD. I did a long research before finalizing on this product and I am more then happy with my purchase. I would highly recomended this product. Just a suggestion, wait for the good deal and you can get this for ~ $200.

Weakness: 1. No DVI in the box. 2. Height cannot be adjusted. 3. No swivel. 4. Control Button on screen is so difficult to read. 5. Without rebate involved, the price is a way too high.
This is a great monitor indeed. But I'm not quite sure about an issue of backlight Bleeding!! When I changed my screen into any dark colors especially black, it is very noticeable to see extra backlight around the top and right edges of the panel which is very very annoying in those color scheme so I do have to set another pictures which is not too dark on the top and right edge as a wallpaper....

Strengths: Great 17" LCD, 8ms response time. Bright image. No dead pixels. inexpensive when there is a promotion.
Weakness: Does not come with the DVI cable. The screen do not have height, swivel, pivot, and tilt adjustment options.
This is a very good LCD. It works so far so good. I like it. the image is clear, crispy. Fast response time,Bright image make gamer happy. The Bright screen is good for Games and Movies But not for long time reading. I adjust the bright to the lowest level but still fell uncomfortable after a long time reading. If this monitor has tilt adjustment options,it will be better.
