Strengths: Price was very good from Tiger Direct
Weakness: The only thing is when first on for up to an hour there is significant flicker and brightness variation. Not always but often enough to make a concern but with 3 year warranty and price -- it's fine!
Overall this monitor is the same as the wide angle and I am sure it's German Engineering is just as good as mine here ... with a 3 year warranty and nice contrast and quick response time it's good even for gmaing by someone who has used it for that.

I bought the Hanns-G HW191 because I was able to get a very good deal on it. I have read the reviews at other sites and most give it their highest rating. Set-up was easy and after some tweaking I am happy with the results. I am running it at it's nativc 1440x900 and it looks fantastic using the VGA connection. I will be going to DVI once I install the video card I need to get digital video...
Strengths: Super color and no problem setting it up for an excellent picture on a wide screen. Two computers can be connected to it using the DVI and VGA inputs which is nice. No dead pixels on it.
Weakness: The DVI connector is too close to the mounting stand but that is a minor problem. The controls would be easier to use if they were on the front instead of the side.
I am very satisfied with the picture and for the price, it is a super LCD monitor. I have looked at other LCD monitors and for the price this one has all the others beat.

Strengths: Widescreen, 5ms response time (make sure at what you're getting; one merchant had a 8ms model), very high contrast ratio, not a single dead pixel, Bright colors.
Weakness: The buttons on the side aren't sensitive and sometimes take a little muscle to push, but otherwise work fine.
