Not stand alone for music
The monitor lowers the volume on music. For those of us who like it loud, you have to purchase separate power speakers. My old (8yrs old) monitor played music as loud as I wanted. No additional speakers were required.

Good Value
Good monitor for the price with shipping included. We needed a new monitor and for the price with the HP name couldn't pass it up. Good color just not great.

Don't Buy This
I find the adjustments to brightness & contrast very poor. The speaker sound is "tinny". I'm not pleased at all with my item. It also gave very poor instructions for using & had to get help from a neighbor how to make any adjustments.

Good monitor for the money
The product was easy to setup and has a great display. I definitely wanted a larger screen size and a monitor with built in speakers. The larger display is great but unfortunately I am disappointed in the sound quality of the speakers... kinda "tinny". I wasn't expecting top quality sound but my old monitor, which had an add on speaker bar, was significantly better. I use it to play music while...
