Great Monitor!

Strengths: Wonderful size--almost too big--contrast and brightness is second to none. No dead pixels. Both DVI and VGA inputs. Excellent build quality.

Weakness: No height adjustment which should be standard for this type of price. No additional A/V inputs. No speakers.

Acer decided with this monitor to concentrate on a no frills, performance-first display. And they accomplished just that! Lots of screen real estate, beautiful picture quality, accurate representation of colors, no ghosting, excellent response time. I found it especially good for watching DVDs. Renders text very clearly; web pages never looked better. It takes some getting used to in games since...

Should Come With Sunglasses

Strengths: SUPER bright display, awesome resolution, great size, great price.

Weakness: Fixed stand height

I couldn't believe how bright this monitor was. In order to use it without squinting, I had to turn the brightness down to 25%. Text is razor sharp, graphics are crisp and clean as I am using the DVI connection instead of the VGA connection. There is very little "ghosting" on rapidly moving images - not quite as good as a traditional CRT display, but still very good nonetheless. With the wide...

Economic Monitor

Strengths: Cheap

Weakness: No Height adjustment

Price of this monitor is very good compared to the other brands. The stand is not adjustable according to your viewing preferences. You need a good video card that supports 1920 X 1200 resolution and has a DVI output. The monitor includes the DVI cable which is good because you do not need to buy the cable separately. The response time is same as the other monitors on the market at higher prices...

Great Display, Awesome Buy

Strengths: Large ( as in HUGE) Display, Great Resolution, Great Response time.

Weakness: Almost too big. Not very customizable.

I've had this monitor for about two weeks now and am still not used to the size of it. It's very bright, I had to take the brightness down to about 15% and it's definitely "no frills" when it comes to controls, but dollar for dollar you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal out there. I've played Quake 4 and Rise of Nations/Rise of Legends on it using a Radeon X700 and it performs like a champ...

Basic versatile fast WS 24 inch monitor

Strengths: Clean design. No bold company logo. Decent refresh rate, 6ms G2G, for gaming. Tilt. Dual input (DVI-D and VGA) so I can occasionally use it for TV viewing.

Weakness: None yet!!!

Manual is one page. Doesn't describe how to adjust attitude (RGB). It looked like it was an optional inadjustable link but after a little poking I was able to switch from cold to warm. The brightness was giving my brain-injured head spikes. -even after turning the brightness down. Warm is much better. Played Tombraider Legend, which has a WS setting and it was smooth beautiful and warm. The lack...
