i5 processor with 6GB of RAM makes this a great choice for this price range. The battery life is surprisingly good. This laptop is well balanced in regards to size and weight. The fan keeps the laptop cool while staying quiet. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about Windows 8, but I found that it runs very smoothly on this machine. The touch pad vs touch screen will take a little getting used to on the Windows 8 commands. My only concern over time will be the stability of the screen hinges. However, until I start to see any issues this is a 5 star rating for me within the context of the price range.

No manual regarding care and maintenance of your laptop/battery.

Excellent features

Great HP cool sense and awesome camera. The pc size in general is just cozy and comfortable, you''ll be fascinated and happy with it! I love the keyboard and the beats audio feature. I truly recommend! thumbs up!

Great Laptop!

My sister just got this and i'm next. It's definitely one of the best out there; I honestly can't find a single flaw. my laptop now which appears comparable since it was an i5 has random glitches and tech issues i love borrowing my sisters since it has performance like no other!

I have small hands and cannot imagine anyone with bigger hands using this PC unless you are a 1 finger typer. But if you are trying to be productive in a normal way, forget it. As you are typing, all of sudden it jumps to another place in your work. This is making it hard to enjoy or evaluate the features. Also, the letters will most likely wear off as it appears they are painted on. And, it would also have been helpful to have some get started instructions with it. It came in a box with nothing. Everyday there are updates that have to load. I expected this the first couple of days, but now it is just annoying. The PC I bought has Windows 7 now Windows 8 is out. I may be returning it anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.
