Strengths: Battery life is better than notebooks using Intel Processors. Its very, very quiet. It looks really nice from the outside. It has 128mb of video(shared, but still). Wireless works fast and well.
Weakness: Only has 2 usb ports.(Major flaw)
Most computers at this price range dont have 128mb video. If you upgrade to more RAM, then this is a decent computer for some games. For a univ. student it makes a great computer. I am using it as a replacement for my Desktop, and other than having to switch back and forth some usb connections, it works really well. I prefer AMD to Intel due to battery life, and on top of that on average AMD...

At this price, you really can't go wrong. It has a good processor, enough ram, 60gb, dvd/cd burner etc... Some prefer widescreen, this isnt. Not the smallest laptop if your looking for one of those.

Strengths: i like that movies from cds work well and the burner and all the cool stuff
Weakness: what i dont like is the pixel capacity for music videos and audio sound
as stated before i dont like the audio so much its okay when its low but when its high like when watching a movie or music video its not the best quality. and the pixels in music videos aren't so good and i dont understand it because the dvd movies, and pictures are great!

Nice looking laptop. Its a little heavy, but thats OK. DVD rw is a nice feature. The scroll mouse does'nt seem as smooth as my Presario, maybe I just need to get used to it. Comes with one year warranty, I think alot of maufacturers are going to a 90 day warranty on their lower end stuff. For the price I paid(around $500) its a terrific laptop.

This is an awesome laptop if you are doing light work. This is not a gaming laptop. It is thin enough to be consider a thin and light notebook. I have own it for 6 months, no problems at all. It has the speed when you needed it. If you are not processing, the cpu sits at 800mhz, which saves alot of battery life.

Weakness: no 1394 firewire port and only 2 usb 2.0 , the battey life could be a little better but it's not too bad , speakers and full blast are a little crackly .
it has 2 256mb moduals , only needed to upgrade 1 moduale to a 512 and it was able to play world of warcraft with ease which is a high rescourse use game , need the optical mouse though , touch pad not good for games . the screen is clear and doesn't loose preception like a prdjection t.v when you look at it from another angle , that was a must have in purchasing a laptop . writes dvd data discs...

This is a good laptop for what I paid for. Big crisp screen, fan does not turn on that often, nice feeling keyboard. Love the DVD writer for putting together disks for family and friends. I have added an extra 512mb RAM which improves the performance significantly. 60GB HD is quite enough for everyday use. Weight is not an issue since this replace a heavier laptop :P
