I bought this Belkin laptop cooling stand for my Lenovo Thinkpad T61. It gets hot after running for some time and I was worried the extra heat might not be good to the laptop. This stand keeps my laptop cool. It works as advertised. Also it is powered by the USB port without any external power adapter, which is handy for travel.

Weakness: Stopped working after 3 months--obviously a very poorly manfactured product.
Be careful buying this product,it is a waste of your money--I bought through Dell and paid $30. It worked for a while then fan totally stopped working. Cooling was never very efficient but better than

I bought mine 3 months ago and it suddenly stopped working. Belkin doesn't have an agreement with Best Buy like many manufacturers do, so in order to get a replacement (as it is covered by the warranty) I have to pay to ship the part to Belkin and then wait for it to arrive before they will ship me a new one. In the meantime, I'm SOL as far as using a laptop cooling pad.

Bought this a little over one year ago and have been using ever since. I use my laptop for work, five days a week for about 8 hours a day. My laptop uses a wireless card to connect to our server, with the Belkin Cooling Stand, when I close up at night and put everything away, it has only registered very moderate heat. Considering how it was before, there is no way that card would have lasted....
THE GOOD: Attractive white design; effective cooling, built-in tilt stand. THE BAD: Only one fan; small footprint unsuitable for bigger laptops. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Belkin Laptop Cooling Stand manages to both look good and offer effective cooling, despite having only a single fan.

Decent cooling stand
Strengths: Quiet, good design.

Recently my laptop was getting very hot and shutting down automatically. Then I bought this Belkin laptop cooler and it helped taking heat away from the laptop and cooling down. It has good design and sits comfortably in the lap. The size also perfect for my laptop and fits very nicely. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
